“Buxton Munch is the best place. 27 years serving the Village, so they're doing it right! The food, owners, staff and atmosphere are a true local gem! The shrimp and fish tacos are our favorite, but all the food is great, nice portions and good prices. It's tucked away in a small strip mall, it's across the street from Dollar General and the ABC store. If you pass it, turn around, it's worth the U-turn.”

“Ate there on my birthday. May 22. Food was great. I had the sheepshead and my husband had the oysters. Chloe, our waitress was wonderful. She treated us to a bowl of the famous chowder and chocolate cake. We loved it so much until we stopped on the way to the ferry and bought some frozen. Everything we ate was perfect..”

“I’ve been coming there every year since they were a smaller shop. This was the first year I was dissatisfied. My husband can’t stomach pickles, they put them on his sandwich after he asked them not to, the receipt showed the request. However when it came it had pickles. I sent it back, I know 100% they just took them off and gave it back within 3 minutes, so I complained and requested a new sandwich. They acted like they were mad at ME?! Excuse me, please do better. Sincerely a devoted customer, who will be back because the owner deserves another chance.”

“We had their pizza one night and it was amazing. We returned the following night and ate in. Ceasar salad, Italian sub, fettuccine Alfredo, ham and cheese sub and fries were amazing too. Their prices are great too. My only complaint would be they close at 8:30 PM, but that is the normal for the area.”

“The food here was fantastic. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. The salsa was really good and had a little heat. The fajita was outstanding and my wife's taco salad was delicious too. Would definitely recommend La Fogata to anyone looking for some good Mexican food.”

Although the interior may not have the coziness of some coffee shops, the atmosphere is open with plenty of space to take in the local art or get a little work done (if you do that kinda thing in Avon).”

“What an awesome place! Highly recommended. We now have a local bar that we will be visiting everytime we are in Frisco. While on the ride down from VA I called around looking for karaoke and found Howard's. They don't normally do karaoke on the night we arrived, but he was more than happy to get it going for me and some of the locals to enjoy. My husband and I had such a blast! The staff are on point and the people and atmosphere where amazing! We are so happy to have discovered this spot in Avon! Thank you Howard's for a great night, we will see you again soon!”
