20 Best Fast Food Restaurants in Cary

“I frequent the Chick-fil-A brand all of over the country and this is my children go to place for dinner. Tonight I went to your location in Cary. First of all the attendees outside aren’t as polite as the used to be they were concerned with group conversation not serving the customers. When I pulled up the cashier, said,”What can I get you”, no hey welcome to Chick-fil-A how may I serve you. I was shocked. I asked for two 12 counts of freshly cooked nuggets. I put an emphasis on fresh. I paid, drove to get my receipt and reiterated I wanted them fresh to that attendee. I got to window and I reiterated again to the young lady who had her hair cut very close, she said, “yes sir promise”. This was an entire lie and disappointment. This is the 2nd bad experience with this particular store. I have included the pictures in the email. After speaking to Caroline she has promised to give our family a night on her, but she never asked me my name, my phone number or asked when I was planning to come back. Totally disappointed.“

“I went there for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my meal and outstanding customer service. We were greeted by a young lady (I believe her name was Zaria) as soon as we walked in and a young man named Christian took our order. He was polite, professional, and friendly. He helped me make some of meal decisions and I really appreciated the "above and beyond" assistance from both of these dedicated employees. The restaurant was clean, the food was hot, and the service was top notch! If you don't feel like spending a lot of time or money but you still expect quality, stop by this location!“

“I stopped by for the Wednesday deal, where burgers and hot dogs are a little over $2 each. I ended up with two burgers and a hot dog for about eight bucks and some change. Can’t really complain at that price.

The burgers were surprisingly decent. Fresh, well balanced, and didn’t taste like they’d been sitting under a heat lamp since lunchtime. The hot dog was just okay. I got it grilled and topped it with ketchup, mustard, pickles, onions, and chili. It was salty and a bit soggy, but still passable. Not exactly gourmet, but hey, I wasn’t expecting haute cuisine.

What really stood out was the paper order form. It felt a little old-school, almost like placing an order at the Ippudo ramen chain minus the Japan and the ambiance. No awkward interaction, just check some boxes and wait for food. I kind of respect that.

Overall, it was cheap, filling, and oddly charming. Not bad for a midweek craving fix.“

“I first encountered Potbelly in Washington, DC, but recently discovered they've got a couple right here in NC. In my opinion, they take the best parts of other chains and implement them all in one place. There is plenty of meat, the veggies are fresh, they toast the sandwiches and they have cookies. Flavors have always been good in my experience, and if I have the choice, I'll prefer Potbelly over other sandwich/sub chains.“

“Visited this Chick Fil-A several times over the past month. 2 of my visits were inside and that was great. I was greeted and taken care of in a short time. Very professional and the food was great. I had 1 drive thru visit and even though it was a busy time, I felt the line went by quicker than expected. Everyone I interacted with was great and my order was perfect. I wish all fast food restaurants gave the same service.“

“This Burger King has the staff, food, and energy, I have EVER seen from any Burger King. Every experience I've had with BK has been negative. Until now. I now get excited to get my BK meals from this business. Alicia took very good care of me and was such a sweetheart. Honestly more BK locations need training from this spot!“

“I love Chick-fil-A, but this one has always been a tricky one. I think the location and design of Crossroads overall is crazy but if you go at lunch, expect a long wait in the drive-thru, especially with people who block the drive-thru exit. Inside can be chaotic at times, too. It's a super busy location that really needs to expand. Too bad they didn't buy the old Pier One and destroy it for extra parking and redesigning the overall drive thru.“

“My husband and I are here and the pizza 🍕 was awesome. I love the fact that we were able to create our own with the size that matched each of our appetites. The pizza makers were all nice and patient with us as we made our decisions. The lemonade 🍋 drink was very tasty as well.“

“Ordered a bacon double to go via the app. Wentin and waited at the to go location. Watched as my burger was put in the staging area and sit for about 2 minutes. The drive thru customers kept getting their orders, a employee kept taking orders at the register but no one did my order. I finally had speak up to get my order.“
