“When they first opened they quickly became our favorite Mexican place. Like other things, there were some growing pains. New things were tried, some things worked and some didn't. I will be honest, we thought flavors suffered. Guess what, they are BACK! If you tried it before and were not sold, I encourage you to try it again. The flavor is back and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly. What we love most is the unusual menu items. Sure you can get the typical Mexican dishes but flip to the back and try something else. Take the risk and branch out, take the wait staff suggestions on dishes or cocktails. You won't be disappointed!“

“This is a special night out restaurant for us. Nothing we dine at every month. Kind of disappointed with the lack of service on our most recent trip. The restaurant wasn't crowded but it took over 5 minutes just to get a waitress to our table, then another 5min plus to get drinks. I ordered a side salad to have before the entrée...guess which showed up first. My wife also ordered an alternate side but that didn't come out correctly either. The only positives from last night: the cook nailed the steak, salmon was on point and beer was cold. This is definitely not the Milner's we know from years past.“

“Was there last night we come a lot but only one problem we came to drink and they have no draft beer because they say it broke it been broke over 4 months why isn’t it fix yet this hurt business cause a lot of people like to drink and the bottle beer is more expensive and you don’t get your money worth with bottle when you get draft you feel you are please get it fixed so we can come enjoy a cold one“

“My wife and I went there tonight for our 3 year wedding anniversary dinner, being that we had never been, so I made reservations, immediately walked in and had a set table ready. Kurt, our server was above and beyond, to say the least! Ordered the special that he recommended, “best bang for your buck” and he was nothing shy of the truth! By far, one of the best dinners that we’ve experienced, and we are foodies; traveled and ate at some of the best restaurants imaginable, and I can gladly post this review, admitting that we will certainly be back! “The wait here can be long at times, but it's worth the wait. I don't think they take reservations. We waited about 20 minutes but for an indoor seat. They have a lot more outdoor seating. The waitress was very busy and so forgot a few things. She would evening them. The food and wine selections were very good. I would go back when in the area.“

The chef Curtis is a mushroom forager so any dish with mushrooms is a must try. For a “fine dining” establishment it is remarkably unostentatious and laid back. “I took my son here for his birthday on a Thursday. We were the only ones there which was fine, the staff was very nice and our waitress was very attentive. The food was great! I had the shrimp and grits and it was sooo good! My son had the chicken and waffles, mac n cheese, and yams. He loved it all and they gave plenty of food.
