“Met Jeff at a wedding festival in January. Tried the pork with his sauce and it was absolutely delicious. We tried other places but we ended up coming back to Hit the Pit. Jeff had us come for a tasting and I couldn't help but notice that he has a 100 health score. On top of that, everything he prepared for us was amazing. His sauces are fantastic, the meat is tender and juicy, and the sides are awesome too. We decided to have him cater our wedding, and we are so glad we did. Everyone loved everything and we were so pleased. Jeff is the sweetest guy you'll ever work with also. 10/10 would recommend.“

“I'm ashamed that I didn't take pictures ? but you must eat at the black bear!!!! My favorite things to eat are the onion rings, the pimento grilled cheese, the hot fudge cake is to die for!!! They have fresh food and a cozy atmosphere. The waitress are very sweet and you know they love their job. We will be back.“
