“I used the Subway app to order online and pick up in the store. I got the Italian BMT with the Italian Herbs and Cheese bread and provolone cheese, along with lettuce, cucumber, oil, and vinegar as my toppings and condiments. I sadly forgot to get it toasted. The sandwiches were ready within minutes of me placing my order. I walked in, picked up my sandwiches, and said thank you to the people that were working. They were very nice. I would definitely come back and get more food from here, it was a pleasant and quick experience.“

“It's a McDonald's, we placed a mobile order. The first window said it wasn't there after we confirmed it at the speaker, then the second window was screaming they had it. After fifteen minutes of looking we did have everything in the order.“

“Before this visit, I had only been to a Cookout location once, and that experience wasn’t great. However, this visit completely changed my perspective on Cookout for the better. I was hungry, and since there aren’t many dining options in the city, my friend suggested we give it a try. At first, I was hesitant because of my previous bad experience at a different location, but I decided to keep an open mind and go for it.

I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich (cheddar style), chicken nuggets, and a walking taco as a side, paired with a lemonade. The lemonade was forgettable—I honestly can’t recall what it tasted like—but the food was much better than I expected.

If I were rating Cookout solely on my past visit to a different location, I would’ve never gone back. But this particular location made a full 360° turnaround for me. The food was good enough that I’ll definitely consider ordering from Cookout again.

The chicken sandwich was moist, packed with a decent amount of toppings, and overall delicious. My only minor complaint was that the freshness caused the bun to get a little soggy, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The chicken nuggets were fresh, hot, and flavorful—though I wish the portion size had been a bit larger for my liking. As for the walking taco, it was tasty but could’ve been even better with a few more toppings. It primarily consisted of jalapeños, meat, cheese, and chips; a little more variety would’ve elevated it.

We went through the drive-thru, which was fairly packed, but despite the long line, we received our food pretty quickly. While waiting, I peeked inside the restaurant, and it looked clean and well-maintained. The staff working the drive-thru were polite, professional, and friendly, which added to the positive experience.

If you’ve tried Cookout before and weren’t impressed, I’d recommend giving this location a shot. It’s a solid spot in the area, with good food and service. While there’s still some room for improvement, I can confidently see myself returning or recommending it to others.“

“The Subway location I usually visit is on WCU's campus since that is the closest location to me, but I have passed this location many times when I have gone into town. We recently got a $10 gift card to Subway, so I ordered ahead on the Subway app to use it. I ordered an Ultimate B.M.T. footlong with Italian Herbs & Cheese bread, toasted, provolone as my cheese, and lettuce, cucumbers, oil, red wine vinegar, black pepper, salt, oregano, and parmesan cheese for my toppings. My partner got the Elite Chicken and Bacon Ranch footlong. We used a discount code to get both footlongs for $12.99 total, so with my gift card, I only paid about $4 out of pocket for the two footlong sandwiches. I will say that without the discount code, I likely would not have purchased the footlongs as they would be over $25 if we did not use it. We placed the order and it was ready for us by the time we got there. My order was made perfectly and it tasted great. I always appreciate when an online ordering option is available, and the people working were very efficient and nice!“
