“We ho here at least 3 times a week more if we can, the food is very good and the prices ate great. All the service we have ever gotten were great. We have a favorite waitress Joyce she us awesome, she goes above and beyond for her customers. We have been going here for at least 15 years and counting. We love B&G grill. The long lines is well worth the wait.“

“We landed on the Lantern Inn as our late Saturday breakfast (noon) option since the chain we had planned to stop by was full with a wait.
The restaurant was decently busy but we were welcomed to seat ourselves when we entered with no wait. The tables and booths seem to have decent spacing so diners can navigate the establishment without being right on top of one another. Our chosen booth was clean and well stocked (menues, ketchup, hot sauce, mustard, pepper, salt, sweeteners, half&half, whipped spread, jellies).
Our server, Sheila, was prompt to greet us, take our drink order, and answer questions about the menu. Our food did not take long to arrive. Food was about on par with what I would expect from a major chain rather than a local establishment. Shreded hashbrowns were more soggy than crispy. Eggs were cooked to order and bacon was crispy. Pancakes were a bit rubbery, waffles were not as crispy as we prefer. Sheila did well checking on us, but not too intrusively, and topping off drinks if we wanted.

Parking: There is limited parking directly out front, it seems like you could potentially park near the neighboring businesses or alongside the building on the side street.

Kid-friendliness: Though there weren't "kid" items listed on the menu, our server Sheila offered options verbally.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are two stairs followed by a narrow breezeway at the entrance. Unless there is an alternate entrance I didn't see, I would not consider this wheelchair friendly.“

“I hope this place does not cease to exist... I have been there twice, the first time was good and the second time even better, the sushi, the burgers and the attitude of the waiters... I love them... I hope May they be motivated to be better every time, since most places have waiters who apparently hate life! I don't recommend alcoholic drinks, since they charge you for a sad glass as if you drank the whole bottle, but everything else is very good, I hope to have a 3rd visit to this place!“

“Very friendly environment, walked in not knowing how they do things. They asked if we had reservations we said no an we were able to still get a table. Food is absolutely amazing and delicious 🤤
Oh yeah also makes me feel like I'm not even in Goldsboro. Didn't know about this place until I had a doordash order, which made my car smell amazing. I just had to come an try it out. Definitely will be back for sure 😊

“Hwy 55 in our area hasn't had great reviews lately, we, as well, have stopped going. BUT we happened to stop at this location last night for the first time and it was FANTASTIC. They we super busy but those kids were hustling their butts off. The food was perfect the service was even better. They deserve recognition for a job well done.“

“My grandsons and I went to this waffle House tonight for supper. It was absolutely the best food I have ever eaten at waffle House anywhere in the country. The staff was so kind and patient answering all the questions both little boys had. I highly recommend this place.“

“I always enjoy coming to the bar at LongHorn, and a big reason for that is Shannon. She’s an exceptional bartender who truly goes above and beyond for her customers. Every time I visit, she either already knows what I’ll be having or makes a pretty good guess — whether it’s my drink or dinner choice.

I usually come in on Sundays after the rush has settled, and I always notice how hard she works, especially during busy times. Despite the crowd, she remains attentive, friendly, and always makes sure her patrons are taken care of. It’s clear she takes pride in her job and goes the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome.

Any establishment that has Shannon on their team is incredibly fortunate — she’s a true asset to the company. LongHorn is lucky to have her, and I’ll keep coming back because of the outstanding service she provides.

“Went to Sams Club this morning and ate at Skullies street Q food truck for the first time. It will definitely not be my last. The pimento cheese brisket was phenomenal and the best fries I’ve ever had. Not to mention the homemade ranch. The young man that served me was also one of the nicest people you will ever meet.“

“I left at 1:50 to get something tasty, I let my boss know I’d probably be late getting back from lunch since I left so late to get the food. I made it back home at 2:05. Food piping hot. Spice level is perfect and the flavor is phenomenal! I got the curry goat and this place actually cooks the potatoes in the curry. Quick, tasty, and it’s Jamaican food served in the south, the price is the price. No complaints here! Huge portions too!“

“It's Applebee's a sports bar/restaurant. It was clean. The staff were polite and helpful.
My only critique is that they did not have an item in stock at the bar when I ordered my drink. It didn't ruin my day, but any good bar manager would have back stock to ensure the bar would not run out of product midweek.“

“I ordered one of their burgers, I forgot the name of it, but it was the best burger I've ever had in my life. The service was great, I ordered a strawberry lemonade, and you could taste real strawberries in it. I also didn't have to ask for a refill. The waitress already had it handled way before, and they dont charge extra. The starting appetizer (salsa and chips) was even so good. The chips had a soft texture that didn't hurt my mouth but still had a nice crunch and flavor. And the salsa wasn't spicy enough to make my mouth burn but had enough flavor to it to satisfy my taste buds. Everything was great, including the price. It's cheaper to get food here than going to a fast food place.“
