“This is the place to go for breakfast or lunch in Goldsboro. It’s as close to home cooking as you’ll get. Plenty of choices that change daily. If you come in for lunch, get ready to wait in line for a table. Everything is delicious, but the garden peas taste like they just came from the garden. When you do get there, it’s a good possibility that I’m already there. Mmm mmm good!“

“We arrived early and was seated and waited on promptly by a young man named Brian. Brian went over and above to make our visit pleasant. He brought additional sauces for us to try that were delicious. Brian was present and extremely polite. The food was fantastic. Thanks to Brian, we had an especially enjoyable visit! “Hwy 55 in our area hasn't had great reviews lately, we, as well, have stopped going. BUT we happened to stop at this location last night for the first time and it was FANTASTIC. They we super busy but those kids were hustling their butts off. The food was perfect the service was even better. They deserve recognition for a job well done.“

“Since i started useing clean eats I have lost 20lbs in a little over 30 days it wasnt easy bc my body has been use to eatting what ever and when ever. but I fast I gave up soda and eat my clean eats every night. I cant remember the young lady who explained to me how everything works the day I went in for the first time but shes the one I owe a thank you to.“

“Went to Sams Club this morning and ate at Skullies street Q food truck for the first time. It will definitely not be my last. The pimento cheese brisket was phenomenal and the best fries I’ve ever had. Not to mention the homemade ranch. The young man that served me was also one of the nicest people you will ever meet.“

“Went today to get 2 tailgates with an extra 8 piece box of chicken with an extra pint of bbq. Nichole was checking us out and she was on it! Gave all the sauces needed plus plates and forks. Awesome customer service!!!!!“

“Whoever was on the grill making steaks during dinner service on 12/26/25- you know what you are doing, okay?! We ordered takeout, my husband got a t-bone and I, a sirloin. When I say they were perfect?! I can count on one hand how many times a restaurant has cooked *both* steaks to the EXACT doneness we ask. You, sir or ma'am; need a raise“

“My worst dining experience ever. The place didn't have but 12 people in there....waited almost 2 hours for a burger and fries....the waitress was nice....but the manager was confusing and the food turned out to not be so good. It was just a real disappointment“

“My grandsons and I went to this waffle House tonight for supper. It was absolutely the best food I have ever eaten at waffle House anywhere in the country. The staff was so kind and patient answering all the questions both little boys had. I highly recommend this place.“

“Customer service was excellent, As soon as you walk in they help with anything. Your first time there. No problem....they help explain the process of ordering and what is where. The wait staff is on top of checking on what you may need, & going the extra step to make your meal great, refills are there ASAP.
Fully stocked potato bar, Salad bar has all fresh ingredients

“My bestie and I tried this place after I was searching for a place serving brightleaf hotdogs with chili. I moved away from NC over 30 years ago so when I visit, I want brightleaf! The hotdogs are boiled and steamed JUST LIKE I LOVE THEM! The chili sauce is perfect! I also ordered a hamburger and my bestie ordered a bacon double; both burgers were juicy, tasty, and made to perfection!!!! They don't serve fries but they do have chips, ice cream, specialty coffee, homemade milkshakes, hoop cheese sticks, different breads, a variety of drinks (tasty lemonade) amongst other things.
The seating is outdoors; a bench style picnic area. I enjoyed it. It was a little windy with lower temperatures that day so a heated lamp would have been awesome but it wasn't too bad and the food definitely made up for it.
The customer service is pretty awesome as well. I will be returning! It was a first visit for both my bestie and I; we both look forward to returning!
