I have been coming here since they opened, and even earlier when the great employees at matatlan used to run las palmas on Duke street many moons ago. The food is top notch, the service is second to none, and the people who work there are awesome in every way. This is one of my favorite “hidden gems” in north Durham. They also have a killer Texas margarita 24oz deal that is amazing!

I enjoy the restaurant staff and the restaurant itself. The food is wonderful and their chicken filling for enchiladas, tacos , ect., is wonderfully seasoned and made in house. This restaurant makes their own beautiful, chicken tamales served with a sauce. If you have not tried a tamale, do so here. They are delicately seasoned and are such a delicacy to experience.
