“This place is a true GEM to Durham! I celebrated my birthday here with a group of 17 people and from the initial conversation with the staff they were extremely efficient, professional and accommodating! And the food…the food was incredible! The drinks were made perfectly, the service was top notch and the atmosphere was very accommodating. I 100% recommend this place, no matter the occasion! Thank you all for accommodating my large group and making sure we had an unforgettable evening.“

“Best burger ever! Seriously. You order at the counter and they deliver to your table. You're off to a great start when they make a point of asking how you want your burger cooked. And it's seriously good. The pickle chips are delicious as well! If you're in Durham, do yourself a favor and grab a burger!“

“🥪 One of my favorite lunch spots in RTP! It's small so get there early. Deep menu, great specials, and free cookies on Fridays! I kind of wish they were open on weekends so I could share it with friends who don't work nearby weekdays.“

“The food was delicious. Brussels sprouts, focaccia, salmon, short ribs, bolognese, desserts. Best of all they were willing to seat us outside, by a heat lamp, at our request. We really appreciated their willingness to accommodate a party with an immunocompromised member.“

“I want to express praise and gratitude to Desmond at the Durham Hotel. I had been calling the rooftop restaurant for a couple of weeks to try and modify a reservation for a birthday party and after five or six attempts, they had not called me back. I eventually called the hotel and Desmond answered and even though it is completely separate and outside of his job responsibilities, he took down all my information and reached out to them on my behalf . Desmond was able to modify my reservation so that I did not have to drive down there an hour each way. He was very professional and I enjoyed talking with him. He is definitely in the right line of work because I felt like I was talking to a friend. Details matter, and Customer Service should still matter. Thank you, Desmond!! “I had lunch on February 16 at Southpoint. That’s my location for 10 years. I have always gotten good service and food. On yesterday the food was not great. The pizza was over cooked and the bread pudding was burnt on top. I didn’t want to ask to do it over because I didn’t want and ( i will fix her attitude as I have heard formal cooks talk about.“
