“This place is a true GEM to Durham! I celebrated my birthday here with a group of 17 people and from the initial conversation with the staff they were extremely efficient, professional and accommodating! And the food…the food was incredible! The drinks were made perfectly, the service was top notch and the atmosphere was very accommodating. I 100% recommend this place, no matter the occasion! Thank you all for accommodating my large group and making sure we had an unforgettable evening.“

“One of my favorite weekend breakfast spots. Wonderful food, friendly service.
I'm pretty much a creature of habit so I have quiche and sliced tomatoes, but the folks I eat with get the avocado toast with crispy bacon, the chicken biscuit, the rise and shine breakfast, and the lemon ricotta pancakes. All outstanding meals. We do have one friend who always gets cake for breakfast.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. I love coming here for Sunday mornings.“

“Best burger ever! Seriously. You order at the counter and they deliver to your table. You're off to a great start when they make a point of asking how you want your burger cooked. And it's seriously good. The pickle chips are delicious as well! If you're in Durham, do yourself a favor and grab a burger!“

“I want to express praise and gratitude to Desmond at the Durham Hotel. I had been calling the rooftop restaurant for a couple of weeks to try and modify a reservation for a birthday party and after five or six attempts, they had not called me back. I eventually called the hotel and Desmond answered and even though it is completely separate and outside of his job responsibilities, he took down all my information and reached out to them on my behalf . Desmond was able to modify my reservation so that I did not have to drive down there an hour each way. He was very professional and I enjoyed talking with him. He is definitely in the right line of work because I felt like I was talking to a friend. Details matter, and Customer Service should still matter. Thank you, Desmond!! “My brother and I ate at this wonderful Cafe today for lunch . Our lunch was delicious . Our waitress was Genyii. She was absolutely so sweet and efficient! She kept checking on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. My brother and I were able to spend quality time with each other. Thank you Genyii for the wonderful service you provided for us🥰“
