We needed a place to eat on the way downtown. We had no idea what to expect. Our waiter gave us the specials. We had the appetizer special and the dinner special. We also had the butternut squash soup. The service was excellent! The food was excellent. The appetizer had cheeses, meat, olives, hummus and some other items. The dinner special was beef short ribs with potatoes and asparagus. Wow! That was good! Their bread was also very good.
My go-to place for eggplant Parmesan. Fresh, lightly breaded eggplant makes this dish a treat. The arugula salad salad is top-notch too, with a light lemon-vinegar dressing. I highly recommend this casual, comfort food, Italian restaurant.
