“My husband & I have been coming here for 2+ years, since we moved into the area. Their sandwiches are THE BEST! FANTASTIC bread!! No other place in this area has bread like this! My favorite place to get a wonderful sandwich! My favorite is the Vegetarian, my husband's are the Carolina Cuban & Italian. We both love the crabcake sandwich. It's not on regular menu, but is, when in season, and available, a weekly special. Check it out. They only accept CASH.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at 309 Bistro and Spirits in Edenton, NC, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Let's start with the truffle fries - a first-time indulgence for me. Priced at $11, these fries were a delightful blend of crispy perfection, enhanced by the rich aroma of truffle oil, the savory bite of parmesan cheese, and the refreshing touch of fresh cilantro. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that left me craving more.Moving on to the main course, I opted for the Atlantic Salmon, priced at $28. The pan-fried salmon was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior that gave way to tender, flaky flesh. The sweet chili cilantro cream sauce added a tantalizing kick, perfectly complementing the delicate flavor of the fish. And let's not forget the sides - the baked potato and Brussels sprouts casserole were the ideal accompaniments, each adding its own unique twist to the meal.As for dessert, the homemade chocolate budino cake was the perfect ending to an exquisite meal. Rich, decadent, and oh-so-satisfying, it was the ultimate indulgence for my sweet tooth. But it wasn't just the food that impressed me at 309 Bistro and Spirits. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure every detail was perfect. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of.And let's talk about the ambiance - cozy yet elegant, with dim lighting and tasteful decor that set the stage for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a romantic evening out or a special occasion with friends and family, 309 Bistro and Spirits is the perfect choice. I can't wait to return and explore more of their exquisite menu.“
“I don't get a chance to go often, but when I do, it never disappoints! Went a few nights ago and got the Ribeye dinner. It was very good...perfect actually. The wait staff was super nice and attentive. I can't wait to go back soon“
“Very good place to eat. Very nice restaurant drive in right near the perquiman’s river. Right at the new s-bridge. Delicious fried oysters, French fries, coleslaw, hush puppies and sweet tea. Very nice people there. Stays really busy. Really good prices. Very nice atmosphere“
“4 stars because lunch at $22 was a little pricey and this was their lunch special! Food (trout) was delicious but very small amount of coleslaw. $2 extra for the waffle sweet-potato fries. A $50 lunch including a 20% tip won’t be our normal. I just wasn’t left with a “Wow, I’ll be back.” Wondering what the regular lunch price was. If $$$ is not an object, it’s a nice place near water and boats and away from hustle bustle.“
“We ate there 2 days in a row. On the 1st day, we had the buffet. Both of us had fried chicken, bbq, candied yams, mac and cheese. The next night, we ordered from the menu and had dried shrimp, ff's, cole slaw, and hush puppies.Parking: There is plenty of parking available for everyone extra large lot“
“Finally have a designated breakfast spot I can go and get great coffee and inexpensive breakfast right down the road. Food is kick*ss and the people working there are what make the experience worth it. I hope jeannes cafe sticks around for years to come- its going to be my usual breakfast spot.“
