“Visited the CB in Hendersonville NC on 1/17/24. Store is always interesting and full of beautiful and fun items. Staff is friendly and helpful. What made the visit out of the ordinary was the wait-staff, Tyler. He was welcoming, attentive, and went out of his way to be accommodating. Our food was great! It was 8:00 PM and the kitchen was low on bacon and out of white gravy, but he persuaded them to cook more just for us. When he found out that it was my birthday, he made sure that I left with a free dessert. I told him that his service and personality was gift enough! If every restaurant had wait-staff that were as great as Tyler, they would never fail and advised the mgr of his awesome service and attitude. When we return, we will always ask for Tyler❣️“

“Popped in w/o reservation on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated right away. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient. Though just opened from the devastation of Helene, the food was fresh and hot to the table with a very short wait. We both had samplers. one sausage and the other a schnitzel variety. The entree and sides were delicious. We lived in Germany for seven years and the food was spectacularly authentic, even down to the broetchen in the bread basket, crunchy on the outside and softly chewy inside. “Today I met a friend at Three Chopt in Hendersonville, NC. This was the *first* time I had eaten at this restaurant in our lovely downtown even though I had heard of it before. Not only was the atmosphere quaint and the service very friendly but the food was DELICIOUS and the owner (Matthew) is awesome. This spot is a GEM in Hendersonville. *** As we were finishing up our meal and paying the check Matthew came around to *each* table with a free cookie - spreading kindness and love and asking everyone to call a friend or family member and tell them how much they mean to you (as he had just lost a close friend). I will be back to help support this local business and all the good they have in their heart and share with others! ...(and order the "Dearest David" sandwich - yum!)“

Incredible Tacos and Torta at Taquira El Chuy!

I recently had the pleasure of stopping by Taquira El Chewy, and it’s easily the best taco truck I've ever experienced. The Pastor Torta was out of this world—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with flavor in every bite. I also tried two Pastor Tacos, and they were just as fantastic, with a deliciously soft tortilla and a mouthwatering balance of spices. My wife loved her three Chicken Tacos, which were tender, fresh, and cooked to perfection. We washed it all down with two bottles of Yoritos orange soda, which paired perfectly with the food. The team at Taquira El Chewy clearly puts heart into every dish, and the food quality and service were top-notch. If you're a fan of authentic Mexican street food, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be coming back for more and recommend it to everyone in the area!“

Try the Black Bear on tap, if you like darker beer that one is great. Saw the Trophy Husbands band play there and they were awesome! Don't miss! Health rating was posted on the front window--94.5. My search for authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex led me here. This place is hard to find. It's a food truck next to a gas station with a sign out front that says "Food Center" in the very small town of Dana. They have some outside picnic tables to sit at. I'll be back to try some other menu items.“
