Send they dodged a bullet when he did that - the building flooded when Helene hit us hard last year. Anyway, the food is as great as it always was, and the service is always offered with a smile! My personal favorite are the biscuits & gravy...“

“The bakery part of this location is very small, but apparently very popular, and has well prepared & made fresh daily pastries, soups, sandwiches, and wood-fired oven pizzas. Most of this location is not a bakery, but a gift shop which has quite a large selection for such a small little village.“

“We visit Pops Diner yearly on our annual Fall Break vacation. The food is always great, and the portions are large. This year was not our best experience. We visited twice—once at breakfast and once at lunch. Both times our waitress seemed to be overly busy. Drinks sat unfilled and condiments were forgotten. The food also took an unusually long time to reach our table. Lunch was the most unexpected. Our table asked for A1 and our waitress stated that they only had the packs which would be $1 EACH after the first pack. I know everything is expensive, and believe me I get making a profit on food. However, $1 for each package of A1 seems excessive to me. Why not offer bottled A1 just like ketchup? We ended up trying a new diner in town after our less than expected experience.“

Incredible Tacos and Torta at Taquira El Chuy!

I recently had the pleasure of stopping by Taquira El Chewy, and it’s easily the best taco truck I've ever experienced. The Pastor Torta was out of this world—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with flavor in every bite. I also tried two Pastor Tacos, and they were just as fantastic, with a deliciously soft tortilla and a mouthwatering balance of spices. My wife loved her three Chicken Tacos, which were tender, fresh, and cooked to perfection. We washed it all down with two bottles of Yoritos orange soda, which paired perfectly with the food. The team at Taquira El Chewy clearly puts heart into every dish, and the food quality and service were top-notch. If you're a fan of authentic Mexican street food, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be coming back for more and recommend it to everyone in the area!“

Health rating was posted on the front window--94.5. My search for authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex led me here. This place is hard to find. It's a food truck next to a gas station with a sign out front that says "Food Center" in the very small town of Dana. They have some outside picnic tables to sit at. I'll be back to try some other menu items.“
