“Why can’t we have this restaurant closer to our home instead of off the interstate on our way to TN? We were in the mood for Mexican food fir lunch, and saw the sign for this restaurant as we exited. The food was marvelous, as was our waiter. We are on our way to our final destination now - full and raving about lunch. First thing that was given to us was a large round corn tortilla with salsa on top. It was not spicy, and it was just enough to whet our appetites. Delicious! We are grateful that we did not fill up by eating customary chips and salsa. The menu was huge, and it was difficult to decide on just one thing. Due to a dental procedure, I had to find something soft. The cheese quesadilla fit the bill and it was perfect. The included salad was different and amazing: cucumber, tomato, dried banana slice, apple slices, and lettuce with Caesar dressing. Husband raved about his cheese grilled burrito with chicken, rice, and the same salad. If you are in the area, and you like authentic Mexican food, this is the place for you. We will make it a stop anytime we are in the area so we can try more of the menu items!“

“If you enjoy a good classic hotdog for a very affordable price, this is the place. We had lunch ch for 2 with drinks for $19.00.. Footling with chili and slaw, tater tots with chili, large drink with free refills for me. A smoked sausage dog, fries and a large drink for my wife.

“I see why this is 5 stars! Only 7 reviews is criminal though. Hand made tortillas and meat with amazing flavor. I got cabeza (beef cheek) and pastor. Very very good! Both salsas are good. A perfect wedge of lime for each taco. You NEED to try this place. Best tacos ive has in Asheville area. Quick service and very friendly. I'll make this a very regular stop for much lunch breaks.“

“Stopped at a Chick-fil-A in NC on our drive and wow, their drive-thru was impressive! We’ve never seen anything like their fleet of Chick-fil-A cars for delivering food—super cool and efficient. Team members were out in the line taking orders with tablets; ours was so friendly, quick, and knew exactly what to suggest. We got our food fast, everything was spot-on and tasted amazing as always. Kimberly S helped me on 7/18/24 She seemed very unhappy I mean hello you could see it on her face that fast food is not a great job, but guess someone’s got to do it. It’s like if all fast food was gone what would we do? We would have more time & money for our kids, families, loved ones, etc. Would it be that bad America? Living in a slower world & being happier in life. Working towards common goals. She Kimberly looks like an HR person kinda role. “This might be one of the best Chick-fil-A restaurants I've visited. The service as great, and despite stopping in at a busy time, the food came out in great timing and was delicious. For anyone who's visiting Asheville like I was or lives there and needs a good place to eat and relax, I highly recommend this location!“

“My wife and I took a homeward detour coming back from the beach and visited the Burntshirt Vineyards. We then headed for the St. Paul Vineyards, only to find that they were fairly crowded, and that we'd previously visited there on an Asheville trip four years earlier. As we were driving out, I realized that we were only minutes away from Sonic happy hour, and an iced tea sounded like something I could get charged up about. Maria began looking for one on her phone, but something about the surrounding terrain seemed familiar, and I told her I sensed a Sonic close by. As expected, one appeared as we crested a hill, and it was the same one we'd had lunch at four years earlier. Burgers and iced tea were very good. Servers on roller skates continue to astound me. I have an aversion to body casts.“

Not the usual McDonald's experience. I've been to this location 3 times in 3 years and it's been on point all 3 times. Will I eat there more frequently? “I have been to many fast food restaurants since the pandemic first came about and have had issues in one form or another at each and every one of them. But let me tell you about this crew at Wendy’s on Smokey park…. From the moment you walk in the door until you walk out they are the most polite and cheerful group. They acknowledged us when we came in and the cashier was stocking the condiments and cleaning the drink counter. She said I will be right with you and quickly finished up what she had started and came to take our order. The employees in the back cooking and assembling went right to work getting our order together. I made a mistake on my order and she quickly allowed me to fix it and was gracious about it and not rude like other places have been. We sat down and ate and others came in and they were just as polite. It was like a breathe of fresh air in these trying times we are in. 1000000% would recommend you eating here and seeing what I got to witness today.“

The only negative is I didn't check to make sure I had my crinkle fries when I drove off into the sunset with my order. That was on me, though. All in all, the staff were prompt polite and friendly. Ordered two shakes, made upon arrival. (The Andes Mint shake could stand a few more chocolate candy pieces, another personal preference).

She treated me with a smile, asked me how sweet I like my coffee. normally I just get it how ever they make it, no special instructions. It was nice because she genuinely cared about my opinion. When I told her it was good she was giddy and smiled. Such a pleasant encounter. We need more people with her customer service. I work fast food and would gladly have her on my team.“

“Hadn't been to an Arby's in years. Went to try the Gyro sandwich and wow was it awesome. I am a Greek food fan. I didn't think it would be great, but I was pleased. The lamb meat is just like the traditional kind. Good lettuce, red onion, tzatziki sauce too. Will return.“
