They were some of the kindest, most welcoming people you could ever meet and made us feel right at home the entire time. Owners Joel and Jess are some fantastic people and they have a great spot in Hatteras Landing. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a drink, some food and fun! “Atmosphere and service is always good. We usually stop in for breakfast. They offer a good variety at a good price. Today I ordered eggs over medium, grits, and white toast. The food came out just above warm. My eggs were cooked hard on the outside, but the whites were not cooked all the way through. I couldn't even eat the edges they were so underdone. I broke the yolks and ate my toast with those. The toast was not warm enough to melt the butter I put on it. The grits had no flavor but the consistency was good. I had to add 2 packs of butter (again the food was not hot enough to melt room temperature butter) and salt to season. Eggs were also unseasoned. I realize that's what salt and pepper are at the table for but normally food is seasoned while it's cooked. It's just not the same. I could've sent it back and asked for it to be fixed, but I am not a fan of food returning to the kitchen once it's been brought out.“

“We had their pizza one night and it was amazing. We returned the following night and ate in. Ceasar salad, Italian sub, fettuccine Alfredo, ham and cheese sub and fries were amazing too. Their prices are great too. My only complaint would be they close at 8:30 PM, but that is the normal for the area.“

“Hey Y’all. Want to give a shout out about Pop’s. We went to lunch yesterday (July 22, 2026) and the food was amazing (sorry no pics) the crab cake sandwich was out of this world and my boyfriend had the trigger fish sandwich and was also out of this world.

The Waitress Julia was outstanding, being the only one working both inside and outside, she handled herself with the utmost respect and dignity helping everyone. Also the bartender did help her with taking orders and asking folks how everything was.

Great place and will be coming back again.“

“I’ve been coming there every year since they were a smaller shop. This was the first year I was dissatisfied. My husband can’t stomach pickles, they put them on his sandwich after he asked them not to, the receipt showed the request. However when it came it had pickles. I sent it back, I know 100% they just took them off and gave it back within 3 minutes, so I complained and requested a new sandwich. They acted like they were mad at ME?! Excuse me, please do better. Sincerely a devoted customer, who will be back because the owner deserves another chance.“

“We had a rather large family party (17)! We were served efficiently and with courtesy. In all of the dishes and people served, I did not hear one disgruntled diner. Our drinks were delicious, the food excellent. We were served chips and salsa upon being seated, which was refreshed as soon as the baskets were emptied. I would definitely recommend if Mexican food is up your alley!“
