“Visiting from out of town, my husband and I were ready for lunch. I searched “food near me”, and this restaurant was only .2 miles away. We had no experience with Peruvian food, and looked forward to a new adventure. We have no regrets. This place is amazing! We both ordered the Lomo Saltado Salvaje, beef, served with a perfectly cooked egg and delicious plantains. The stir fried tomatoes and onions tasted fresh, and the beef was sublime. The portions were huge, and we could have easily shared a plate. We washed everything down with passion fruit juice, and took a delicious dessert to go. We will make this restaurant a destination, and will drive two hours to eat here. DELICIOUS!!!“

“Really enjoyed the brisket nachos- solid flavor everytime. The quesadillas are huge! We also ordered the guac this time (usually go for the chips & queso) and while it tasted fresh it was missing the heat factor I’m used to. Be aware- there are no open restrooms! When we asked where we could wash hands/ change our baby’s diaper we were told to go across the street to the public park restrooms.“

“We ordered 120 empanadas for a special occasion, and our guests gave rave reviews about the size, nutrition and flavors of the empanadas. They were so easy to keep warm in our oven until serving time and they were gobbled up in no time. Mark was very easy to coordinate with. Che Empanadas are quality and the easiest to serve for a gathering.“

“i went to the food hall and saw this empanada stand and karma gave me great service yesterday i ordered 2 pork chimichurri and a ham and cheese based on his recommendations and they didnt disappoint! They melted in my mouth. They even have gluten free options if that helps!“

“Ordered from DoorDash, I was a little wary of the food's freshness because it arrived so fast, under 20 minutes.
But all was well, because the food was delicious, the rotisserie chicken was flavorful, and the green sauce on the rice & beans hit the spot. Portions were of a decent size for the price you're paying.“

“I’ve never had an issue with Alpaca takeout. You place your order Ava are have a tied bag upon pickup. Only this time, I was missing my two large sides of black beans. I’m slightly annoyed because my daughter is a picky eater, but loves the black beans.“

“Pollo Rico is a fantastic Salvadoran restaurant, especially great for weekends! It can get a little loud and really busy when there's a soccer game on! But the food is delicious, and the waitstaff is really friendly. The only downside is that it can sometimes take a little while for the food to arrive.“

“The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and was very authentic. My son-in-law's parents are from El Salvador so he knows how well the food was prepared. The staff and owner were so helpful and very friendly. We will most definitely go again.“
