“If you are looking for soul food that’s clean and fresh Ava’s is the place to be. The food is flavorful but not “heavy” or greasy. All of the veggies are meat free and delicious! My favorite are the collard greens. Mmmmmm 🤤🤤🤤 You can taste the love and care in the food. Which makes sense because it truly is a family owned/operated restaurant. The venue our clients’ chose had numerous obstacles due to the weather and how event was set up. Can I just say…Painted Plate Cater staff and owner went above every obstacle including getting down right drenched in a rain to make our clients day run smoothly. The food has always been great, as I have been blessed with opportunity to have their food for decades now plus the food this weekend was amazing. They stayed professional, team player, and dedicated to our clients day even when most were wet from the down pours of rain. In my opinion, the food is a highlight of any event and exclamations did not disappoint. The food was super delicious and the presentation was awesome!
