“I’ve been enjoying Village Tavern for over 25 years—whether celebrating with friends and family or simply stopping in for a casual meal. It’s one of those rare places where I know I can always count on a consistently great meal and warm, attentive service.

There’s truly not a bad seat in the house. The indoor dining area is cozy and welcoming, and I especially love the outdoor patio when the weather’s nice. The large bar inside is perfect for socializing or networking, with a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. It’s a spot that’s friendly to both families and singles, and the staff always makes everyone feel at home.

Some of my favorites include the fish tacos, meatloaf, and carrot cake—each one consistently delicious and satisfying. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and offers plenty of parking, which makes every visit easy and enjoyable.

Village Tavern has been part of so many memories over the years, and I’m grateful it continues to be a place I can return to with confidence and joy.“

“Large salad I purchase,it was just a bunch of lettuce not cut up enough.also very little cucumbers and very little tomatoes,why. Very disappointed with large salad. Need to have lots more veggies on salads.“

“We adore Tap Room! The atmosphere is ideal for the Tap Room vibe, and the cuisine is fantastic! Everyone on the team works incredibly hard!
The Philly steak N chz is another a favorite, and I heartily recommend the pita wraps! Not to add how delicious the Caesar salad with steak or shrimp is!“

“My husband and I are regulars here. Visiting Melt is really a highlight of our week. Everyone who works there is so down to earth and kind. We like to support businesses that treat their employees well. Something we’ve noted is that much of the staff have been with Melt for quite some time. And they seem genuinely happy to be there. It’s just a really bright gem here in Greensboro. And the food? We’ve never had a bad meal there. It’s always so good. And they make a great Old Fashioned :)

“Not a bad little spot. High prices but, airport so expected. Only one server so I can see how people have commented on slow service, I imagine when it gets busy things get backed up. I was recommended the chicken quesadilla and it was excellent! Absolutely loaded up with fillings. Very friendly staff.“

“My first time at core life eatery so it took a while to figure out what I wanted. But I saw they had the tofu so I figured I haven't had any tofu in a long time and that would be the ticket. Now it comes with quinoa and I chose kale which probably was a bad choice because it's hard to chew for me. But this place is definitely worth it and I'm ready to go back already.“
