“Good food, good wait staff and very friendly. Biscuits are fantastic. My fave is the Sawmill Benedict. Poached egg over Canadian bacon on a biscuit covered with gravy. So good and filling. Coffee is fantastic as well. Friendly staff make you feel like family. Lunch portions large and quite tasty. Service with a smile by all.“

“Thank you Origins Food and Drink! Thank you Alicia, and I hope I spelled that right! Not only did I get to host a fantastic (Oh so tasty) lunch for my visiting cousins, just off the highway, but as we sat in the nice quiet bar area, talking well through your lunch closure, your staff just let us stay. Nobody said a word. Thank you for that. ❤️ One cousin lives in Rwanda and the other in Florida, and I haven't seen them in a year! ❤️ Once again, you are my restaurant of choice for so many reasons! Thanks for the incredible food and professionalism! (Originally posted on my Facebook page on July 1, 2024)“

“First time in tonight. Had the Oysters Rockefeller, the black drum ceviche, and the fried flounder! All were incredible! We also ordered a few of the Bloody Mary oyster shooters and they were as delicious as they were aesthetic! Our server was great though I forgot to get her name, as was the manager who stopped in to check on us!“

“I don’t usually leave reviews but they totally deserve one! We left the movies and my parents said “where are we having lunch?”. I said “right here! I looked at their menu during the movie”. Coquina did NOT disappoint. The “co’jito” and “café con leche” cocktails were perfection. The conch fritters were fantastic. In fact, we were shocked how many fritters come with the order and the size of them. Most restaurants we’ve been to that offered conch fritters come with (maybe) five fritters and always far smaller in size. And the actual amount of conch and size of the pieces: amazing. It was so nice to actually taste conch and not just breading/filler! And then the Cuban sandwich….. OMG….. My father and I always order a Cuban sandwich and judge a restaurant based on it if it’s on their menu. We both agreed that this was probably the best Cuban sandwich we’ve ever had! And we’ve tried them from Key West up to New England. The mayo balances out the mustard…. The melted Swiss cheese…. BUT the winner: the mojo-marinated SMOKED pork. Once you get through the creamy, savory, and tang, you get the smoke flavor and it’s just the perfect marriage of flavors. I know it’s supposed to be a fish-focused place, but do yourself a favor and get the Cuban sandwich!!“

“One of our favorite spots to eat in Wilmington , their seasonal seafood stew is one of my all time favorites , we also really enjoy their “Baked” oysters and cornbread as a starter before diving into one of their main courses. My only continuous complaint is the noise. I feel like I’m back in middle school in the cafeteria. Some sound absorbing walls, carpets etc would be welcomed to help cut down on all the noise. Outdoor seating is our preferred option but weather is not always cooperative.“

“The garlic fries and spicy chicken sandwich (forgot the name) were to die for! However, our utmost favorite part of this experience was our waitress, Mikayla. She was very kind, attentive and beyond helpful! Seriously, the smiles in her section were endless. Great hire!!! We can't wait to come back!“
“The best!! Fresh, large variety with the most friendly knowledgeable service! Southern hospitality at its finest. We bought our haul fresh from the market and had it cooked on property at the Lewis Seafood Shack food truck.“

“We have been to Topsail Beach many times, but this trip was our first to the Breezeway Restaurant. We came on a Thursday evening; it was very busy. The food was wonderful! We enjoyed it so much we came back again the next night, our last evening on Topsail. We had shrimp, flounder, deviled crab, oysters, and the world's best hush puppies and slaw. This is now our favorite seafood restaurant anywhere. The view of the sunset was spectacular. The service was top notch, with a shout-out to Caitlin and Lucy. We hope to return again next year.“

“Down home local spot with good hearty food choices. Nana is a spicy hostess that will make you feel like family… so make sure you mind your manners and have a positive attitude. Seating is tight and eclectic but the place is charming if you embrace it.“

“Spacious outdoor venue — picnic tables with umbrellas. Absolutely the MOST delicious farmed oysters I’ve ever had, served raw or roast your own on one of several grills. Amazing toppings for the oysters. They also serve sausages for grilling and yummy shrimp salad. Lots if other unexpected seafood options. Great beer selection. What a treat to have the very freshest local oysters anytime of year! We LOVE this place and the terrific employees!! A+++.“
