“My husband and I are going to the Amish country store up in Yadkinville from the Lake Norman area. I found this little place on Facebook and decided to give it a try. I have to say hands-down it was the best fried oysters, fried flounder fillet, hush puppies, and coleslaw we have ever had. I am originally from the coast and will say that these oysters were better than any I have had at the beach.“

“We were camping near by and was looking for soup. I called and the young lady said they had soup and chicken stew. I had the vegtable beef soup, garden salad, and a grilled cheese sandwich. My service was great. My food order was very good. I thought the prices were fair. My order came out in no time. I would come back when we are camping this way again.“

“Hey Yadkinites, today, instead of driving to Mocksville for East Coast Wings, I decided to try the wings at the Yadkin Plaza Restaurant. I’ve eaten there for years, but never tried their wings. Let me tell you, those were some of the best wings I’ve ever had, and this ole girl has had her share of wings over the years. They were laden with tangy, spicy buffalo sauce, and so crispy. Big, meaty wings too! Came with plenty of celery and ranch. I was amazed!!! Right here in Y’town. Who knew? Insider tip from our waitress…Order the “homemade sauce” at whatever heat level you prefer. That’s not on the menu. If you don’t specify, you’ll get out of the bottle sauce without the butter mixed in.
