“me and my boys stopped at mcdonalds after church Wednesday night and I truly believe the Lord was smiling on us. 🙏 The fries were HOT and fresh, the Sprite was so crisp it practically healed my seasonal allergies, and the sweet young cashier called me ‘ma’am’ with such respect. In a world full of darkness and negativity, it’s nice to see a place still serving families with a smile. My youngest even said his chicken nuggets looked like little angels. God is good!! ✝️💛 Will definitely be coming back after Bible study.“

“Met my boyfriend for our first date here 3 years ago. Just recently moved back to this area, was looking for a chill coffee spot. Went here once by myself. Neat spot, good atmosphere. We sat inside. The cashier stared at us the whole time and asked us to hurry. They told us we had a limit of an hour inside. We didn't question it and left. This was 3 years ago. Could of been my new favorite coffee spot. Have not and will not be back.“

“I just love this little bakery. They are always welcoming and so sweet. I love the whoopie pies they make. My favorites are pumpkin and oatmeal. Both are soft and filled with vanilla buttercream that is smooth not broken. I also love the little banana bread loaves moist with chocolate chips and pecans, only thing I wish they were much bigger. We will be bringing our grandson to play putt putt soon. What fun! Support home town, it’s so worth it!“

“Place is cute, immaculate and friendly. Food is good. But... they have been out of English Breakfast tea since Christmas which I find ridiculous! I meet friends there once a week and have to bring my own tea bag! C'mon people!“

“I went here on a whim for a caffeine pick up on my way through hickory. It was an amazing treat to be able to find this coffee shop and get a drink from here. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu. The shop itself was very clean and welcoming. Walking in felt cozy and relaxed. The customer base they have build along with just the way the staff interaction is very telling on how kind and welcoming of a shop this is.

The coffee I ordered was a basic vanilla blended latte with added whip cream to the suggestion of the sweet lady that took my order. The vanilla they used was SO GOOD! And the whipped cream was amazing! I didn’t know a simple blended drink good be so tasty. The coffee used in the drink was very good and not bitter whatsoever. When waiting on my drink, another order was being placed and the way the gentleman made sure to ask the preferences of the customers drink, to make sure the drink was made to the customers liking, rather than just shelling out a drink, was amazing to see. From being here for the 6 minutes I was, I could see this shop cares to make tasty drinks enjoyed by the customers who order them.

I will definitely be coming back when traveling through hickory again. And anyone coming through hickory needing a pick me up of some coffee should visit here too!“

“Best wedding cake ever! The sweetest lady there made our dream wedding cake! Not here to slander another business, but our original wedding cake came from another place and it was an absolute disaster. We went here, the day before the wedding, and explained what had happened and showed her the cake. She made this bride so inexplicably happy when she said she could make me a brand new cake, exactly the way I wanted it, in 24 hours. The end result was better than I could have dreamed it to be! She was absolutely amazing, in customer service and in her baking/decorating abilities. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing any types of cakes or cookies for special occasions. They will make sure it is what you want and make it look incredible!“

“This is only 1 reason I love this location. The employees are always so kind. If there is ever a mistake (which is rare) is it corrected immediately, with a smile and deep apologies. This cup message tonight still has me smiling hours later. I used to come every night before work and then stopped because of changes of work hours. I love this and to be remembered is amazing considering how many people come through this location. I will always come here and tell people to come here.“

My drink came out perfect easily one of the best Starbucks drinks I’ve ever had. She nailed the flavor, the balance, and even made sure everything looked great before handing it off. On top of that, she had such a positive attitude that it honestly turned a normal coffee stop into a great experience!

“I shared with one of the workers something that took place previously, and they assured me that it was wrong. Well I have to tell you, I am very happy with this place after visiting today. I tried a Boston creme, and the last time I tried one in a dunkin' Donuts was in Four Oaks, and it was very bad. Or maybe South Carolina. Wasn't good, trust me, but this exceeded my expectations. Now I know where to go for Boston Creme donuts. I have been a very frequent visitor. You won't be disappointed. I get an egg, cheese and bacon, plain bagel sandwich, and it's good.“
