Sweet Union Brewing Brewery • $
13717 E Independence Blvd, Indian Trail

“We've come in here quite a few times for board games, live music, and for the food trucks and every time has been a great experience. They have coffee on tap (for us non beer drinkers that's amazzzinnggg) from Sugar Creek Brewing and it's really great. It's important to support those small local businesses!“

“Excellent spot for tasty beers! The location is perfect - big things are happening in downtown Monroe! The space is gorgeous and provides a perfect place to chill and relax or catch the live music that happens during the month in downtown. The beers are some of the best around. We haven’t had a single one yet that we didn’t like or LOVE!There’s usually a food truck parked nearby and they’ve all been on point and delicious!Fun fact: the brewery is dog-friendly!So, Charlotte peeps - pack up Spot’s treats & water and make the drive to Americana. Southern Range Brewing Co. Brewery • $$
151 S Stewart St, Monroe - 9.44 miles

“Right as I walked in I was greeted with 4 dudes wearing batman capes, they asked me if I was looking for a friend because I seemed "lonely".... I walked right out that door back to my vehicle, I was trying to unlock it when they approached me and said "If you don't get on all fours and beg for this drink I'll knock you out" So as he said that I replied with: "Sure thing, let me put my keys in the car" so I opened my door and grabbed my Glock 22 red-dot and told them to back off. One of the dudes started reaching in his pockets and pulled and a freaking 8 inch sword, so I took cover behind my car and gave orders to drop the sword. At that moment two PD officers saw what was taking place and helped me, as they were yelling the other three dudes pulled out their sword, And I was about to cry omlll. After 10 minutes and 5 more officers, we got the suspects in custody. They were all released the next day without charges, only because they were higher than ur mom after he ate taco bell. I was gifted free food for life from this restaurant and would definitely recommend reaching out to me so I can gift you some free food!!“

“Went with my daughter. I had an Old Fashioned and an arepa. Both were awesome!! Comfy ambiance with a great patio. My daughter had blonde ale and a canal and she raved and raved about the canal. I had a bite and it was fantastic. This is not your typical 'bar food'. Authentic!!!“

“Legion Plaza is always top-tier for us and is definitely one of our favorite spots in the area! We hosted a baby shower on the mezzanine area this past weekend that turned out wonderful. The staff was helpful and attentive as always, the event coordinator was knowledgeable and accommodating, the food was delicious and presented beautifully, and the space is perfect for a more intimate setting of 30ish people. 10/10“

Resident Culture Brewing Company Brewery • $
2101 Central Avenue, Charlotte - 12.54 miles

“After a hard day when you get the first sip of your cold beer/cider pure enjoyment, first I gotta say I love the creative flavors they have specially on the sour beers, they are my favorites, second the ciders, the ciders are wining too yesterday I had a cider they have (unfortunately they didn't have in cans so I had some there) it was freaking delicious , me and my mom both enjoyed it , had that cranberry bitter flavor at the end, lightly sweet , beautiful a master piece. To go I got a sour ad a couple of hard seltzer, the sour was good paralysis by analysis is the name if you like yuzu u will enjoy it , it has a bitterness at the end but yuzu is a bit bitter is refreshing, the seltzer I'll give it a , not the best, now on my favorites that I had there are quantum wobble and fragile masculinity and and the cider I had yesterday , I love that pets are allowed here, and I also like to go there on the early hours when there is almost no one there to enjoy a little peace and quiet, for food this place serve no food but they have a food truck to come in , I'm not sure if they allowed you to bring your own...“
