I just came from eating with my family at Charandas Mexican restaurant in sun valley. We have been here before and liked the food. But today was the worst experience ever. They served my son raw chicken tender!! Not half cooked but completely raw. To make things worse, i didn’t notice till he was on his last piece of chicken. How do you serve children raw chicken!! this place consistently improves itself as time goes on. it has become our go to resteraunt. I don't know how they make it work with the small kitchen, but they do. the food is authentic. you can tell the owner puts love into their labor. the waitstaff is excellent. the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. the area really needed this place. sure, there are other Mexican resteraunts in the area that are pretty good as well. but this one just feels special. keep up the good...read full review
