“Just had dinner at Josephine’s and it was delicious, plentiful, with a well servicing staff. While their menu was very limited, it was well chosen and prepared with flavor. Portions are very large - great for sharing. Warm bread with an olive oil & pesto was served gratis. Really enjoyed our meal and evening. Too bad we live many miles from the restaurant.“

“Came during the off season, but was a recommendation from the Wild Horse Adventure Tours. The caesar salad was large portion, could definitely split for 2 people. My 11 yr had the classic cheeseburger which he loved said it was not overcooked and great. My husband and I had fish/shrimp and chip platters, nice portion sizes, delish cocktail sauce to dip. Staff was very friendly and service wsa perfect, a hidden gem for sure.“

“Tried the Black Pelican for lunch during our November vacation. Nice atmosphere, good service and we loved story behind the name. Food was pretty good. Enjoyed the Hatteras style clam chowder. We didn't try them but the desserts looked wonderful. Also had a gift shop with BP and OBX things. I even found a hot air balloon puzzle box which was amazing!.“
