“The Depot on First has been open since October 2023 and since then has simply excelled as the only fine dining restaurant in the area. I think much of their success is based on the fact they not only maintain consistency in areas such as attention to detail, exceptional customer service and quality culinary experience, they also continue to evolve and adapt to changing tastes, trends, and customer preferences. I enjoy seeing their ongoing tasting and intimate dining events, of which I will have to attend at some point. Another cornerstone of success for many restaurant's is Authenticity, and this Farm-to-table restaurant continues to prioritize authenticity by sourcing quality ingredients directly from local farms and producers. They don't take any shortcuts when it comes to freshly prepared food to save time which is why I will wait patiently in the elegantly decorated intimate, warm and inviting dining room for my entree upon every visit. No Rush! Just me bring me another perfectly prepared old fashioned. Don't hesitate to step outside of the box and try something new on the menu, I am not a fan of porkchops, but I have become a fan of theirs. This is an environment that will put a smile on your face, Ben and staff are simply exceptional, every visit feels like coming home to dinner. “Walked up to this food truck and was immediately greeted by amazing smells! The gentleman working the counter wasn't overly talkative but that's fine, the man was focused.I ordered a Caribbean shrimp quesadilla, a jerk chicken eggroll, and a strawberry lemonade.The quesadilla was good. The shrimp was cooked nice but there wasn't a lot of volume to this quesadilla. Just cheese and shrimp, not a whole lot of flavor for me. All quesadillas are served with chips and queso, big bonus for me! Then the eggroll, these things are MASSIVE! An eggroll stuffed with Cabbage and jerk chicken, wooo these things packed some heat but they were delicious. I split the eggroll with a friend of mine who couldn't stop raving about the jerk chicken quesadilla and the eggroll.I gotta say, if you're looking for some delicious jerk chicken or Caribbean food, give this food truck a try!“

“My first time here. I have been craving food from a Halal Food Truck in FOREVER ! And when I tell yall, they have the BEST absolute BEST Philly Cheesesteak with Fries omg . Them Fries were so deliciousss I would eat that every day each week if I could its so goodd . I ate it literally yesterday & I want it for Lunch && Dinner right now and for tomorrow 😭 it’s sooo goood . I hope they add more stuff to the menu because if so I’ll be here 1 or up to 3 times a week. I couldnt even take a picture of the food because i just went straight to eat everything“

“This food truck blew me away. The lady running it, who I think was also the owner, was so warm, kind and friendly. The food was OUTSTANDING. Best Bierra tacos I've ever had. The broth was delicious. I could have drank it. She gave a generous amount too. I also had a burrito with Chorizo. She made sure she made it in a way I would like it, offering to add avocados to it which I love. When my girlfriend said I liked my food spicy the worker/owner brightened up and immediately offered to include a red sauce which was legitimately spicy as promised. I loved it. The burrito was delicious. I also had a cantaloupe Agua Fresca that was fresh, refreshing and delicious! It was also in a HUGE cup so I got my money's worth. Highly recommended! I'll be back!

“This food truck is my usual spot for breakfast after work. But after seeing what I saw today with the new person, Am not sure if I will becoming anymore. After taking a persons order and grabbing his credit card , and swiping it , She didn’t wash her hands no gloves on , She grabes my food and put the avocado on it and grabbed the tortillas bare hand. With Covid going on and it not being sanitary alone , It makes me Worried the possible germs or .... she could be spreading.“

“It’s food truck good! Honestly some of the better tacos I’ve had on the east coast, still a little over priced to what I’m used to but good tacos. Tbh just falls a little short of a nearby corner taco option. The taco was good. The Tamales, which I was most excited for, just felt like they were too mushy/ likely reheated right when ordered.
Is it my first choice in town? Nah. Is it far more authentic than 90% of town ? Absolutely. Will I be back? 100% but notably I’m very closer by.

Parking: No concerns at all. The spot they’re usually parked on Shotwell and 70 has 15+ spots and I’ve never seen it full“

Flavor was authentic and the best part is that they have HOMEMADE tortillas. You will not come across a food truck this good. I stopped by visiting some friends and was truly amazed. “This torta truck is located outside of a very busy/slightly shady gas station, but the atmosphere is not a reflection of the service and quality of the food. They also offer more then only tortas, we noticed burritos, tacos and quesadillas. The women that take the order are very friendly. The food is so fresh and the portions are large. You can tell this business takes pride in their work. I ordered a pastor quesadilla and they even provided a small side salad with radish, tomato, grilled onions, black beans and rice and salsa Verde. These small accompaniments were not expected but it shows respect for their business and their customers.
They take extra little steps to go above and beyond. Best little torta truck in raleigh.“
