I stopped by on a slow day enjoyed conversations with the crew
Chicken had very little meat. Cooked very hard. I had to turn around and ask for the chicken to be replaced or to get my money back. The second order was not seasoned well at all. Must have been a off day.
This is by far the best Popeyes that we’ve been to in Wake County. The order is always correct, food is fresh and hot, the employees are extremely helpful, friendly, and you can tell they work well as a team. They’re always smiling and joking with one another. This location is worth the extra drive.

The staff is generally polite and accommodating, and the folks they have there now make you feel at home. This Popeyes made sure the chicken was cooked right, with the mac n cheese full and creamy. They even made sure to include honey and hot sauce. However, some customers have noticed a decrease in food quality, with chicken sometimes being dry and not crispy, even when replaced. They hope for improved quality for all customers. The service was great, with the chicken wings and ghost pepper sandwich not crispy at all for one customer. This location is a preferred choice over the one in Clayton, which has been reported to serve overcooked or raw chicken with terrible attitudes.
