“Last night my husband and I went to the Mayfair Seafood restaurant in Monroe and it was worth the 45 minute drive, worth the money, and we had a great waitress named Amy! The fish was cooked perfectly. I had a baked sweet potato and it was cooked just right. We both had the flounder platters, and yes their prices have gone up a little bit, but it was well worth the money and our waitress was on top of things, she made sure we had tea when we needed it, extra napkins, and tartar sauce. Before this I guess it had been a little over a year since we had been there because the last time we were there our service wasn't that great and the fish was a little greasy but this time everything was just perfect. When the fish is cooked as great as it was last night, you guys have the best fish within a hundred miles of Monroe or maybe even further out than that so keep up the good work!“

“The Valley Grill is amazing! The food is absolutely delicious and the people are super friendly. They even saved me big time — I showed up after they closed, completely starving, and they still prepared food for me and even delivered it! Such kind and generous people. “Way better than the bigger places in Monroe because they give you like 4 different salsas, cheese dips complimentary for your nacho chips when you go sit down. You only get 1 cup of salsa at their competition. And large potions too!“

“Love this place especially when it rains. You see I work in the construction field and when it rains I have the day off and get to have a sit down breakfast. The waitresses here always have a smile on their face, are very friendly and the service is normally quick. The food prices are from my opinion are very reasonable and the quality of the food is off the chain. Eat here once and you'll be back.“

“As a Korean from the West coast, I can say with utmost certainty that this is the best Korean food you can get in Charlotte. Kimchi is always fresh and has amazing flavor, perfectly balanced and has a nice kick all kimchi should have. I grew up going to hole in the wall Korean restaurants with my 할머니 and the Dduk Mandu Guk is the closest I get to being back there. Nice proportions fitting of a Korean restaurant, and trust me you will be wanting to have more despite being so full you’re ready to explode. WOULD RECOMMEND!!!“

“Went on Thursday evening. Our server was pretty new. That was not a bad thing! She was so thorough and helpful with everything. Our glasses were never empty. My sunglasses fell, and she got them for me without a second thought (showing she is a naturally good person). Wish I'd have remembered her name.
The only reason it's a 4 and not 5 star is because there was a man who kept going in and out of the kitchen, walking around, giving pretty bad creeper vibes. I guess he was family/owner... but if he would at least smile, maybe he wouldn't make people uncomfortable. The food was pretty good this trip.“

“Got fajitas takeout last night. It was great! With the fajitas, you get the fajita meat and grilled vegetables in one container then in another container, you get rice beans and then in like a little shell tortilla shell you get lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole that’s in a different container and then the flower or corn tortillas come rolled up and some aluminum foil and then of course you also get chips and salsa is a whole lot of food. My family was very happy, and we had leftover fajitas the next day. Definitely ordering here again!!“
