“we were traveling home tired and exhausted in need of food. our hotel clerk suggested this location and so happy he did. I had the best catfish I have had since a child growing up on Florida Alabama line. Fried green tomatoes brought smiles to all. our server Tori was friendly and helpful and very attentive. Definitely worth checking out“

“I will be the first person to say Captain D's usually doesn't impress me. Perhaps, I have judged them all unfairly against my experience at one. That being said, this one in Laurenburg, NC was amazing! We ordered our food and drinks, I went to wash my hands and when I got back to the table our food was ready. Less than 3-4 minutes from order to table. This has not been my experience previously at other locations. Our food was hot and delicious 😋 the staff was friendly and prompt. I'm glad we are moving to the area and I will get to come here more often! Thank you for changing my mind!“
