“First time visiting Florence, SC and chose Tubb’s based on online reviews. Glad we did! The fried flounder with hush puppies and sides of Brussel Sprouts (tastiest I have had in a long time!) and Hoppin’ John soup (Southern classic) were all excellent. (Photo). Caution: the large portion is LARGE. My wife had fried shrimp with fries and slaw - she was very pleased. I ordered SIMPLE items.A burger and a kids shrimp with fries.The hush puppy easily the best I’ve ever had.The burger PERFECTLY SEASONED AND JUICY ON A TOASTED BUN.Pause The fries not too salty and not unseasoned. “This was my husband and I‘s first time at Victor’s. Check-in was great, the server was very attentive in the food was delicious. The reason why I’m not getting this service five stars is because we had to wait approximately an hour and a half after sitting down for our meal. I spent here was two hours and we did not linger.“

“Went get some fresh fish to take home and cook for dinner. The staff was helpful and got a large red snapper and it was cut and filleted on the spot. We we're taking care off in a timely manner. A pleasant and satisfying visit will return soon. Felt very comfortable and welcomed in the establishment throughout the whole process.“

Call ahead to order a take out, can order take out at counter or grab a table and enjoy. Sweet tea is fantastic too, with free refills. Pepsi products available in cans as well. “Had Haley as my server and she is top-notch, while I ate, Daniel, the back of the house manager stopped by and he was extremely professional and kind and to top off my night since I was eating alone, a very beautiful, young and energetic manager stopped by and she spent some time with me just talking about things. It really made me feel at home since I was alone eating tonight. There is no way Rachel is a new manager , she is definitely a seasoned professional.“

“Great food!!! Highly recommend the catfish stew (red base) over rice that my husband got, served with yummy hushpuppies. Spiced to perfection and very generous with the catfish! This visit I had the 2 item platter (clam strips and catfish fillets) with fries/slaw/hushpuppies. Both entrees were cooked perfectly and the servings were such that we brought home half of our meals. Even though the restaurant was almost full at 3:00 in the afternoon, the single waitress working did an amazing job. She had a smile on her face even though you could tell she was pushed. The employees at the ordering counter were also very nice“

“Food is awesome. The "to-go" guy on the phone is so rude! He told me "don't ask me what good, you place order an you see". If you can't ask the staff food preferences, comparisons, an entree details who are you suppose to ask? So rude an unhelpful. Should be more personable an friendly to customers. He acted like I was a huge inconvenience just trying to place a pick up order !“

“Slammin. The young lady at the register was as nice as can be, helpful and patient. She gave us some really good recommends as to what to order… The prices are great! I tried the hibachi (drink included!) + an order of full size chicken wings (so crispy) no sauce, just house seasoning. Man that food was good! “Great food and nice salad bar. Bread was horrible. Obviously microwaved as crust was hard as a rock and top was to chewy to get through. You can do better. Service was substandard as well. Many times drink was empty and had to wait to order but all in all we will be back for the food.“

“Small n family owned. We were a group of 8 ladies there for first time! You pay for food before you sit and eat. They do bring to you at table. All was freshly made n delicious. You serve your own drink n refills. All in all not bad n we think we will be back!“

“Overall everything was good and service was fast. The atmosphere was clean and friendly. They had a little boy, maybe 2yoa, he walked use to our table with the host. Too adorable and smart. Made services just that much better to me. He was hiding out when we went to leave. I had to tell on him.
