“Ortega'z - what a GREAT gem! Heard about this restaurant on Guys Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives; and boy, it not disappoint! The pulled pork nachos appetizer was absolutely HUGE and AMAZING! YES, all caps is necessary. We also ordered two entrees - fish tacos and also Buffalo chicken tacos. Both came with 3 tacos, and rice and beans. Everything was so delicious and the portion sizes were great! Great prices for the amount of food you receive. Oh, and the service was great also! Will be returning very soon!“

I was reading my latest Readers Digest when an acknowledgement was submitted about how the owner Kevin had driven 6 hours one way to deliver what was basically an elders last meal, because it was her last wish…to have a pork tenderloin meal from this establishment. If some day I travel SE from Indiana and anywhere near I will definitely stop to support. Well done my man.“

“This place is super cute and well decorated. It’s adorable! We loved the self serve bar with frozen yogurt, gelato, and sorbet. They have unique flavors and tons of toppings. It’s really well priced. I got a full cup for $5. They also have ice cream cookie sandwiches. I highly recommend this place!!“

“We returned to the Outer Banks last week after a 20 year hiatus, remembering Tortuga's Lie as one of our favorite places to eat. We ate there on the second night of our stay and no one in the family was disappointed. I had the grilled salmon salad special and coming from a tough critic, it was DELICIOUS and did not disappoint! “The sportsbar portion of Captain George's restaurant. Full menu available, including the seafood buffet. TV'S all around, even in the booths. Hard not to find the game or event you're looking for. It's loud, but that's because folks are eating, drinking, and having a good time. They do have a bar food menu that's pretty good, and always drink specials. Off season it's usually full of locals there to hang out and catch the game.“

“Great AYCE seafood buffet with snow crab clusters, all hot food was hot and delicious, all cold food was cold and yummy. There is a huge separate dessert bar with lots of selections. It was all very impressive, bring your appetite, and feast. Missing one star for food as sometimes a food pan was slow to be replaced, otherwise a great place to eat a special dinner.“
