“These people are great. They have good food. Plus they have great service. I went there and they had a sign on their door that said cash only and at the moment I didn't have any cash and walked away. They sent a customer out to tell us to come back and they would feed us regardless. Thank you and burger parlor employees. You guys are great. I really enjoyed the burger. I'm definitely going to eat there again when I come thup there again. Keep up the hard work. I give you a 5 star rating.”

The subs were exactly as ordered, took no time at all, and he was the perfect mixture of respectfulness and entertainment! “We’ve passed by so many times and always see a bunch of cars. We finally stopped in last night and we are so glad we did. Drinks were great, our server was fantastic. I think her name was Gretta. She gave us food suggestions and was very attentive. Food was great. Hubby had the Sea Bass special and I had the pork belly and scallops. Both delicious. The baklava pie was out of this world. I think we will be stopping by again while we are visiting. Highly recommended. Lots of people waiting for a table and take out. We loved the vibe and decor.”

“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!”

“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.”

The Rigatoni Bolognese was delicious, the salmon was cooked perfectly. The Arugula Prosciutto salad was yummy. The deserts-crème brûlée and ricotta cake were a perfect end to a perfect meal. “This place was by far the BEST ice cream shop I have ever been too. My sister recommended them because we are in town visiting and wow. We went with the brown butter pecan ice cream sandwich and it was out of this world I probably said mmm about 50 times. The short bread on it was cooked perfectly and so flaky. I also got the blueberry cheesecake and it was amazing as well! Do not think about it run to this shop! Staff was very friendly as well.”

“The house Avocado salad was AMAZING! This very satisfying dish contained a large amount of fresh salad greens, carrots, red onion slices, tomatoes, an entire sliced avocado, and croutons. I received 2 different types of dressing - both delicious, a large serving of tortilla chips and salsa. It was really enough food for two! Service was also wonderful, and while I chose to eat outside in the sunshine, the atmosphere inside was very festive! I will definitely return to try some other offerings. !Muchas gracias!”
