It made the day extra special. Most of the other bakeries I spoke with couldn’t accommodate making a cake with substitutes within the timeline I was hoping but Shawn was able to help make this happen. We can’t wait to come back and try her other treats!”

“We are in town for a month and have been enjoying Zuma coffee, baked goods (blueberry muffins!) and sandwiches. Great latte, the new espresso machine obviously working well! We’ve been enjoying the sandwiches and planning to try some provisions for an upcoming weekend to make life easier. Recommended!”

“Classic Marshall staple. One of the best burgers in the Madison/Buncombe county area. Not expensive, great variety, and friendly staff. Huge and open sitting area. It's been here for decades and I hope it stays!”

“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!”

“Best homemade Ice Cream and their Ice Cream sandwiches are to die for. Everything is so fresh and love the seasonal fresh ingredients they use in their ice cream. Some of the ingredients you would never think sounds good but one of my favorites is the Fig and Goat cheese ice cream sandwich. We had the privilege of first having their ice cream at our wedding venue Glamping Retro in Erwin, TN that one of our bride and grooms purchased for their guest. The ice cream sandwiches were individually wrapped and put in cooler over dry ice. This was a huge hit and we have since been to their shop several times to enjoy their delicious treats. We are so happy they are only a 20 minute drive from our home! 😋❤️”

“We’ve passed by so many times and always see a bunch of cars. We finally stopped in last night and we are so glad we did. Drinks were great, our server was fantastic. I think her name was Gretta. She gave us food suggestions and was very attentive. Food was great. Hubby had the Sea Bass special and I had the pork belly and scallops. Both delicious. The baklava pie was out of this world. I think we will be stopping by again while we are visiting. Highly recommended. Lots of people waiting for a table and take out. We loved the vibe and decor.”

“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.”

“Little Creek Cafe is a hidden gem. The place has a rustic charm on the outside and feels amazing once you step inside. We had a great breakfast with delicious food and coffee. One standout was their homemade orange jam, it was incredibly tasty and something we’d love to buy if they ever decide to sell it. Next time, we’ll definitely call ahead and ask if they can make a little extra. A lovely spot we’d happily return to!”

The kava tender who worked tonight was quick, efficient and friendly and the beverages are priced reasonably well as with the quality is excellent. Regulars come to perform awesome music for everyone to jam out to. Definitely recommend stopping by 👍”
