When we dropped my son off at Mars Hill for college I was worried that he wasn't going to have a place to hang out and get a beer without having to get a fake ID, but when we walked up to the bar they didn't even card us! Glad to know there's still places that aren't afraid to bend "the rules" and do business their own way!“

“Great brewery! Indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly. Their beer selection is great, something for every tastebud. I had their west coast IPA and it was great. They have food available as well. If having an event, they have an area to rent out for the event. Parking is free and along the street. Can be limited when busy. There is a walking trail near by as well. Close to other businesses and shops to walk around afterwards if you wanted. They have bands once in a while in their outside seating area too.“
“First time here and we came for brunch! Very friendly staff and quick service! I ordered the shrimp and grits and my boyfriend had the bread pudding waffle and chicken. Both were impeccable. And they did not skimp on the shrimp in the grits! That creole sauce on top of the dish was chefs kiss. Can’t wait to come here again!“

The staff is friendly, and you can even bring your dogs to the covered patio! If you are a native to Madison County, this beats driving 20 mins to Weaverville to get a big box name pizza from people who don't care if the food is cooked or not. Stop, take a breath, and go to Madison brewing and pizza! I promise you will not regret it. My dad can even eat here because they even have gluten-free pizza crust!
