“My 5 star review is for Brianna who saw me struggling with the Apple Pay lol, and immediately came running. When I first came in, I told the young lady behind the counter (she looked sweet, but maybe she was just shy) that this was my first time here. She smiled, but turned back around to finish packing the box of cookies she had been working on. Again, she seemed really sweet, so I don’t think her ignoring me was intentional but after standing there for a minute or so, I noticed that other people were starting to come in and tap the monitors on the side of the wall. I got the young ladies attention again, and asked if I’m supposed to order on the wall, to which she replied with a smile, “Yes.” It looked like they were really busy trying to get in a big order or something in, so I didn’t take it too personally, but I told her “Honey, you have to tell me these things so I know.” She smiled, and I headed to the monitors on the wall, but the Apple Pay didn’t seem to be working, which may have been user error lol. Either way, cute little Brianna came to my rescue and answered every single question that I could possibly have about Crumbl cookies. She had the sweetest demeanor, and not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but she also made me feel so welcomed! I really appreciate her and I hope that thugs company appreciates her as well. She is an absolute gem!!“

“The best part of Jekyll and Hyde is the amazing employees and the atmosphere. We were greeted and sat by a hostess with the most fun hair that compliments the steampunk feel of the restaurant and she was all smiles and very welcoming and friendly. Awesome start to dinner. Our server was Kaylee and she also made the experience very enjoyable and I would recommend asking for a table in her section if you go in. My drink was never empty and she made sure we enjoyed all our food. The food was great all around. Looking forward to going back soon!“

“Amber so friendly and efficient ! My bf had been before but was my first time ! Fried mushrooms and cold cold beer to start .. then I got the Patty melt and fries ( had to bring half home ) He got the Meatball sub and onion rings but nothing left to bring home ! “Have been to this location numerous times and always have a pleasant experience. If you're looking for something quick and fresh, this def a go too place. Different variety of Pokè Bowls with an option to create your own. Unlimited topping options and very nicely priced. Very clean inside and a couple of seating options inside. My daughter bought a Boba tea they had in a can, and when the manager saw she got that, he said, "Not good!" And actually made her a fresh Boba tea, which she truly appreciated and stated tasted better, of course. Def. It's a go-to spot and super close to us.“

“Eat there every time we are in the area. We always enjoy the home cooked food. Tonight my husband had the baked chicken with dressing, green beans and black eyed peas. I had the sausage with cabbage, mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. Both meals were delicious!!“

“I've been going here regularly for 3 years now and I have brought so many people over who have also fallen in love with the place. I've had work lunches here, date nights, and just casual meals with friends.

The food is amazing and tastes fresh, it's a small and intimate atmosphere which makes for a nice cozy experience, and the owner is a wonderful woman who greets everyone with such happiness and respect. Her family is also wonderful and nice when you see them working there as well.

I truly believe this place is a hidden gem here in Charlotte and I consider this my favorite restaurant in the city.

And if you're curious my go-to order that never fails me is the Create Your Own Noodle Bowl, House Special, with Mai Fun Noodles, and a Fried Egg on top with a side of Edamame and an Iced Malaysian White Coffee. Sometimes I'll treat myself to the Steamed Custard Buns (so worth it) or switch it up for the Curry Chicken in Clay Pot if I want something spicy.“

“I haven’t physically been here before but I order from Doordash and this is beyond my favorite spot. I absolutely love their tacos. Their salsa is unique/darker than usual but it’s delicious. I don’t eat anywhere else when I want tacos now. Their steak tacos are the best.“

“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.“

“Simply the best Chinese food around. I have celiac disease so finding a Chinese restaraunt to accommodate is a challange, but Julie is on top if it and Chin customizes my weekly lunch , or twice weekly lunch! There is nowhere else that compares. I can't comment on the fried food because I don't eat anything fried, but my husband does and gives it all 5 stars, too. I've never been disappointed with my meal even after a solid 12 years regularly, and my husband started eating there regularly probably 12 years before that! We miss it terribly when we go out of town, even for just a few days! I almost forgot to mention that it is very clean, extremely clean compared to almost every other Chinese food place I've ever eaten in.“

“We’ve been regulars here for over a decade and I can’t believe I took this long to share my log of Thai Taste Matthews.

Their Tom Kha and Pad See Ew are my go to, but their curries and salads are also excellent. I can’t remember a time when we didn’t get great service in a lovely restaurant with authentic decor to go with the authentic Thai cuisine.

Parking: There is plenty of parking within a short walk.“
