“I'm not sure why the reviews for this location is bad. The food was excellent, my man and I went on a Tuesday night, it was empty. We did the 2 for $25 we each got 2 meals and an appetizer. There's an upcharge for the streak and shrimp but portions are large, everything was fresh. Our server Savanah was quick and friendly, checked on us multiple times and gave an update with everything.“

“This was a really nice place to visit and have a meal. We were in town for business and wanted to eat somewhere other than a chain restaurant. The food here was very good and hot when it arrived at the table. The service was very good and we felt like we were being taken care of. Everyone working there played a part in making sure we had everything we needed. If you like pub food, this is definitely the place to go!!“

“The staff and location are amazing! We recently celebrated my birthday and they allow me to bring food and a birthday cake for my guest. I was able to set up a section with all my birthday decorations and catering. They were very professional and very attentive. This location is cozy and perfect for small events or gatherings. “One of my favorite live music joints in town. All their programming is excellent, but I especially enjoy Bill Hannah's jazz sessions on Monday night. Personnel is super cool, and they even have a room for photo and other arts exhibits. Don't miss it!“

“Went to 1058 Sports Bar and ordered the lobster garlic bites and let me say I highly recommend. They were buttery, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of garlic. The portion size was solid and they came out hot and fresh. I encountered the best bartender, Nyjah and must I say she makes the best lemon drops in Charlotte. The atmosphere was fun, plenty of TVs for the games, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Drinks were on point too. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.“

“Mandatory destination for soccer fans. Cool old school bar in a really cool brick alley. Upstairs and downstairs are both small but not claustrophobic. Scarves on the walls and a match on tv, classic soccer bar stuff. Bartender was a good guy, great soccer conversation and some helpful local insight on other watering holes. Glad that we stopped by Courtyard Hooligans, if you are a soccer fan you will enjoy it too !“

“If heaven had a smokehouse, it would definitely be Mac’s Speed Shop. First of all, the brisket? So tender I’m convinced it went to therapy and resolved all its issues before hitting the plate. The ribs? Fell off the bone like they were tired of working. And don’t get me started on the mac and cheese—it’s so good I almost proposed to it. I highly recommend checking out Mac’s Speed Shop.“

“It has probably be a year or so since I went here. This great little pub turned in to my spot for the long weekend I was in Charlotte. The bartenders made us feel like regulars and even met up with up at the concert we were in town for. The patrons of the pub also were genuinely friendly and engaging. 10/10 recommend.“

“Let me tell you about the best server ever.
I lost my phone in Charlotte and and Uber driver that didn’t speak English found it walking down the road. Since he only spoke Spanish I went to the bar and Nohemi not only talked to him she negotiated the return of my phone. NOT ONLY THAT. She came out side in the 22 degree weather to help me translate with the guy!

“This is one of my Husband's favorite bars. Now it has become one of mine. It's a very chill place. They do not serve food. Carly is one of my fav bartenders. Everyone comes here is very chill as well. Stays open late and they pour a great drink! Price varies on how much you order..lol“
