“Pick up order of the beef clay pot. Though it was good, it definitely is not a good to-go option and it is TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get at $70. Clay pot filling, a small container of rice and 4 wraps (which do not travel well) By the time I got home, the bread was hard and to get the gooey bread topping on the clay pot was very difficult. It did not feed 2 people, we had to make extra rice to make it go farther. I gave it a high score bc the flavors were really good.“

“We had a great meal and service tonight. Allison took excellent care of us. It was a birthday party and there was 10 of us. We were loud but we had a number of miserable people complaining. Didn't phase our group any. Happy New Year to all.“

“Madeline E, my server, was awesome. Service and staff at this location, including 2 managers who stopped by the table to check in on my meal, is better than other locations in Charlotte. They were wall to wall busy at 4pm on a Saturday, including a group birthday party of 20 and a party of 12, but service was still on point. The kitchen was a little slower because of the big parties but still faster than other locations in town. I would put this as one of the top 3 Olive Garden visits I've had since Covid.“

“We absolutely love Portofino’s Gastonia...We usually eat in their restaurant but I was recently in the Hospital and was wanting their Spaghetti so We opted for take out and they did not disappoint bc it was a huge portion of Spaghetti and stuffed Shells as well as a nice healthy salad..The food was so hot and fresh..Thank you“

“There's mold on the baseboards in the rear party seating area and the place is generally not clean at all. Dust all over the place. The food is pretty decent but alot of the dishes with Alfred sauce are way too dry. The soup is always super good though!“

“In town for a wedding. We wanted Italian and this was close. Food was good. The bread was very tasty. The price was great! Portions generous. Service was very good. The sauce had a slightly different taste than what I am used to. For the price point, Portofino's is a solid choice. I would go back again.“

“Absolutely amazing definitely worth everything. Very friendly outstanding customer service beautiful views great people didn't have to wait forever was definitely catered too. Was treated like a valued person an not just a quick check and the food was definitely more then rabbit proportion and it was all in all the best experience I've had. I would most definitely recommend this place to any and EVERY ONE. An if your not willing to spend then please stick to your basic local McDonald's because this place and all the staff here deserves every dime they make. 😊🥰😊.. Thank you so much Drift on Lake Wylie for making my night one of the best night's ever.“

“WOW! My boyfriend and I recently moved into the area and decided to try out sals a few weeks ago. At that time we got a buffalo chicken pizza & a Hawaiian pizza. Today we decided to try them again and got a margarita pizza, Stromboli, and antipasto salad. Our order was QUICKLY finished and tastes absolutely delicious. Sal is very personable and extremely talented in the kitchen. Our favorite pizzeria by far.“

“We used to go there when it was a sushi/Japanese restaurant. We went today with no expectations,there was only one other car there,so I didn't have high hopes.On arrival we were met by a great hostess and seated immediately.The menu wasn't huge for lunch,but just enough to not be overwhelming.It was me,my husband,3 year old son and super picky 12 year old daughter.Me and my son got water and my husband got a soda and daughter a sweet tea. The sodas were off so they both ended up with sweet tea that they liked.We ordered the bread plate and special of the day crab cakes.The bread plate was $5 and was worth every penny. It had bread with an oil and vinegarette dip and also fresh mozzarella and tomatoes.The crab cakes were delicious with a tomato,mushroom,corn slaw.My daughter ordered the burger with just cheese and ketchup of course and it came with fries. It was huge and on a chibbata bun, she couldn't even finish it. My husband had the penne Bolognese he loved it. I had linguine with clams. They were huge in the shell clams just not clams thrown in.It came with bread and one was burnt,but the amazing waitress replaced it no problem. The prices are great for the amount of food and quality you get. Will be back for sure.“

“My boyfriend Sean & I enjoy this restaurant. The staff is friendly and will accommodate if they are out of an item. I love the fried squash!! The ranch and many items here, you all should definitely check it out. You'll leave with smiling faces like this lol“

“This is a good place for lunch or dinner. It's cozy. Dress attire varies depending on occasion. I have to say that the atmosphere is very comfortable. They have great pizza here! Food plates are good. Menu changes and is posted. I enjoyed my dessert. I like the way their counter is set up. Some staff wasn't attentive. The owner kindly helped me twice. He cares about his customers!“
