“Waiting for a seat outside can be long. I never understood why when no one is there when I come but inside of its under a 15 min wait..lol but the service is always good. Food is good as well.

Parking: May have to go into loews parking lot if they are crowded at famous toastery

I still continue to dine at The Original Pancake House Midtown. We were just there yesterday and the food was amazing as always. Same huge omelettes and delicious pancakes. Our waitress Kori was absolutely fantastic. I love dining here!!“

“Dang. I hate to have to update this, but this is not as good as it was. The last 2 visits saw wrong orders, inatentive servers, and similar. Yesterday, ordered my usual, #1, over light, please crisp the bacon. Eggs over cooked, bacon undercooked. Server not to be found. Never a coffee refill. As preparing to leave, they checked on us, and I *politely and quietly* showed them my incomplete meal. They did replace the items, but took a while, and I think the burnt bacon I was presented seemed a little spiteful.“

“It's small and quaint. The loaded hash was delectable. I wish the added cinnamon or vanilla to their waffles. It fell a little flat. They ran out of biscuits and salsa, so I used the jalapeño hotsauce, which was decent. Our sever forgot to place our order, and we waited over an hour for food. Mine came immediately (I was late), which prompted them to ask where their plates were. They also got their eggs mixed around. I thought the good was just ok. Nothing to write home about. I did find the eggs light and fluffy, though. So, it was a win.“

“This is my husband's very favorite restaurant because they're one of the few that have gluten free pancakes.
I love this place because we have always been treated with the utmost respect even though we am not in the prime of my life. Also, the food is scrumptious with generous portions.
We live in Harrisburg but make the trek and have never been disappointed.“

“Justin was a wonderful waiter. We had a bad experience the night before at a different restaurant and he was a breath of fresh air. Kind, knowledge, prompt with refills. I could go on. We weren't from the area and he even recommended some things to check out. Oh, the food was delicious too! The breakfast tacos, biscuits and gravy, french toast, pancake and the iced frech toast latte. Nobody had a complaint about their entrees. Thanks Justin and Snooze!“

“This was not our original plan to eat here, however, divine intervention led us exactly where we needed to be. We were welcomed with a warm greeting Ms. Anita, not sure of the young lady at the register and Haneem were a delight. They acknowledged that we were celebrating a birthday and treated us with such care. We had THE BEST biscuits with icing and found out that Kanisha made them. Chefs Kiss 😘. Oh and don’t forget the mimosas - delicious! They let us linger, talk, and enjoy sister time. So THANK YOU 😊. We will be back!“

“I've been going to this place for about 20 years my mom used to take me here to have breakfast when I was 15 years old back in 2005 I love this place they have every day daily breakfast they have their specials for the day which are always good. My husband got the chicken livers with the fried okra, chicken livers were seasoned perfect the okra was spectacular and I've tried okra in so many places and I tell you this is the best fried okra to me.“
