The pancake sampler was awesome and especially the pineapple upside-down pancake ? taking off one star for atmosphere due to long wait times to be seated (60+ minutes) , which I’m sure is beyond their control. “Last Saturday was one of the worst days for me with everything going on in my life. However, my son and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant that turned our bad day around. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming environment by the cashiers. Despite not knowing what we wanted to order, Rowan was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful at the register. She made the ordering process easy, especially for my autistic son who gets overstimulated quickly.When we found our table a bit dirty and I went to clean it, manager Jordan kindly insisted on cleaning it for us. Meanwhile, my son started getting overstimulated due to a loud guest nearby. Jordan, noticing my efforts to calm my son, engaged him in a conversation about his passions like comic books and Pokémon. They quickly bonded, and my son calmed down. After that, Jordan surprised my son with an orange juice and a cinnamon biscuit, which made him so happy.The food was delicious, but what truly stood out was the kindness and understanding shown by the employees, especially Rowan and Jordan. “There is ample seating outside as well. We love that you can see the greenery outside.I had the steel cut oatmeal and a bowl of fruit. My husband had the french toast plate with 2 over easy eggs. Everything was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh. Our server, Sean was exceptional.Overall this was an awesome experience.I also got a veggie burger with greens to go.I am looking forward to returning soon.“

“We stopped in just after 3 pm on a Sunday, and the atmosphere was incredible. Large open space, natural light, high ceilings, cool art and furnishings and very eclectic and cool. Waitress was very sweet and helpful. In short, why this was our first time eating here is beyond me, because this was easily a #1 or #2 breakfast spot in Charlotte. The grits were delicious and very substantial, very flavorful and savory without feeling overly cheesy or greasy. Excellent. The potatoes may have been the best I’ve ever had - crispy and dusted with some concoction from heaven. My boyfriend had beef sausage and poached eggs on an English muffin with hollandaise. We split a sweet potato waffle with maple syrup and butter - they MAKE their own butter in house (!!!!!!!!!). I had an omelet with spinach, mushrooms, and onions; it was very good. This was an excellent meal and dining experience. I was frankly astonished when we got the bill, and it was only $42 before tax!!!!!!! This is where I’m going for breakfast from now on. Also great music. They’ve only been at this location for a year this May, and I don’t know why every table wasn’t full!! The ability to get an incredible breakfast until 5 pm on a Sunday is something I don’t take for granted. Thank you!!!“

“YUM!!! Stayed in Uptown Charlotte for an event and went here for brunch. Food was excellent, service was friendly and good. Prices were more reasonable than our hotel restuarant and just a short walk from our hotel. There was a bit of a wait but we waited for less than they told us it would be. We saw a lot of people leave when they found out there was a wait and saw how small it was BUT they have a downstairs that's larger than upstairs!! Just wait, it's worth it!“

“I was at this restaurant on Sunday 11/19/2023 . Went to Charlotte to see the Dallas Cowboys play the Panthers. We ate breakfast at this restaurant the food was very good and service outstanding . I wish we had a restaurant in Chesapeake Virginia or surrounding area with this type of southern cooking. If I ever return to Charlotte again this will be the place I will dine at.Parking: Parking spaces are available.“

“Came here for brunch with my girlfriends. We waited about 5 minutes for our table of 3. It was busy, which is to be expected since it was 1PM on a Saturday. Our server Juliana was an ABSOLUTE angel! She was such a sweetheart & took great care of us, always making sure we had refills and everything we needed.The food came out within about 10 minutes. Between us we got the lemon berry crepe, strawberry French toast, & chicken fried steak. The French toast had to have been the largest two slices of toast I’ve ever seen! The chicken fried steak was the size of a small dinner plate! Super yummy and filling.Trinity wasn’t our server, but she had a table that complained about literally everything for no reason at all. She was super sweet so we had to take care of her as well!We will definitely be back to see either of these queens! Ask for them next time you stop by. :)“

“Potentially the best IHOP in Charlotte food wise with disappointing service.This IHOP location is located in a busy shopping plaza. There are other competitors nearby, so parking can be a challenge during peak hours. There is rooftop parking if all parking spaces are taken.This IHOP looks like most standard locations. It looks like it was either opened or remodeled not too long ago since there is minimal damage to the restaurant. The tables are clean & the staff does a good job preventing sticky tables.This IHOP is consistently servicing solid brunch. It doesn't matter if it's on a busy Sunday or middle of the day on Wednesday, the food is consistently solid.My recommendations would be the cinn-a-stack pancakes, stuffed French toast, & their combo meals. The eggs are cooked perfectly each time. It's impressive.This IHOP's downfall lies with the service. I'm not stating that all service is awful. However, more times than not, we experience poor service as a whole. This includes not bringing drinks until after our meals arrive, not having silverware, not refilling drinks, & long delays between service. This can be frustrating for some customers. However, our orders usually come out accurate.If you're looking to cure that IHOP crave or somewhere to grab brunch, I can recommend this location if you can understand some of the challenges you may face.If it wasn't for the food being spot on each time, I probably wouldn't come back.“

Opted to sit onsite; the servers were pleasant, and the food was good, despite my initial uncooked eggs. They promptly corrected the issue, though the sauce was missed initially. Appreciated the corrective actions taken, including a credited meal. Despite the hiccups, I'd consider revisiting and recommend to family and friends.“
