“Some items are great, others aren't. I think they have really good smoked wings, tacos, and the fig prosciutto toast.
I was suggested by whoever sat us to get the devilled eggs. I have a feeling she was from up North because those were not any devilled eggs anyone I know would be making around here. Not because of the pickled onion or the bacon but the fact that the yolk mixture itself had zero flavor. I don't think they put anything in them but mayonnaise, I didn't even taste salt. I don't recommend those. Their house made PLM sauce is really good. The only thing I could label in it was mustard. I like the atmosphere.“

“I've been dining at both restaurants for years and enjoyed myself ,the food , and the staff! The food and sides at Morehead have a better flavor, taste better ,and the portions are much bigger. I ve notice that recently on my last couple times that the sides are much better at both restaurants. The mash potatoes in Morehead are so delicious. I wish that was the same case at the emerald isle restaurant. The Cole slaw is the best that I have taste recently. I swear if the food was as good as the sides have been lately I wouldn't eat anywhere else. SNAPPPERZ KEEP IT UP!“

“Picked up some cupcakes and a cookie from Happy Cakes in Morehead, NC, and they nailed it. The cupcakes were soft, flavorful, and topped with frosting that was smooth and perfectly sweet. The cookie was just as good, with that fresh-baked taste that’s hard to find anywhere else. Staff was friendly and clearly take pride in what they do. Everything tasted homemade in the best way. “My husband and I went there for our anniversary dinner. The food took a little longer to cook, but the staff kept checking on us to make sure we were okay. We just relaxed, and their attentive service and kindness really enhanced our experience. They even took off our appetizer, and although I told them they didn’t have to, their generosity made our anniversary dinner truly special.

“They have an amazing hibachi bar where you pick all the food you want and then they cook it in front of you. Also they have a good amount of sushi options, fruits, salads, and a ton of other food. They also have ice cream cups and give you a fortune cookie at the end.“

“I took my son here for his birthday last September and we were not disappointed! We went early on a Sunday afternoon and were seated immediately. Our waitress was amazing and because it was our first (but definitely not our last) visit, we asked her for recommendations. She recommended the Brussels sprouts appetizer, which was delicious. My son got the Hawaiian Special and it disappeared in record time. I definitely recommend the homemade blue cheese dressing if you like it ordinarily, because it puts the stuff in a bottle to shame. At the front of the restaurant (by the restrooms) are walls filled with photos and the history of the establishment, which I found fascinating. We marked the occasion by grabbing a couple of tee shirts on our way out.“
