“I've been dining at both restaurants for years and enjoyed myself ,the food , and the staff! The food and sides at Morehead have a better flavor, taste better ,and the portions are much bigger. I ve notice that recently on my last couple times that the sides are much better at both restaurants. The mash potatoes in Morehead are so delicious. I wish that was the same case at the emerald isle restaurant. The Cole slaw is the best that I have taste recently. I swear if the food was as good as the sides have been lately I wouldn't eat anywhere else. SNAPPPERZ KEEP IT UP!“

“Just had the best pizza ever. I met the owner Val and was super nice and friendly to us stopping in for our first time. I’m a Buckeye from Ohio and loved the pizza. Also he’s has some great people working there who were super friendly. I’d highly recommend this place!“

If anything I would say these are a tiny tad too sweet for me personally but that is what Americans like. But i dont think these are too sweet for 99.9% of you all out there! “I’m not good with remembering names, so apologies in advance. I stopped here after doing a full day offshore fishing that I woke up at 4:30AM. After being seasick and having no appetite until I got off the ship, I went to the Promise Land Market. The tall gentleman did a great job helping me with my order and providing me with my sweet tea as I waited for my order. He said I was welcome to drink it as I waited and he would refill it, which was GREATLY appreciated.

He had a coworker that was working there watching the front while he went to the back. She told me she was from NY. After some chit chat with her, as soon as I finished my drink, she immediately refilled it, no questions asked. And eventually on the third refill, she got me a larger container so that I could quench my thirst better. Overall great service from the staff from my experience. And they were very authentic with their interaction with me so I feel that they are genuinely nice people.

You can find good food everywhere these days, not so much with service and genuinely nice people. This interaction was the cherry on top of my overall experience in Morehead City.

“My husband and I enjoy coming out here once in a while, and it is usually sparsely filled with patrons. It was great to see the restaurant busy tonight! And it looked like the manager was making rounds, which is great to see (excellent business idea for restaurants to get in front of any issues). Also, the military/veterans discount is appreciated (even if I choose not to use it). We enjoyed our meal and the staff and will be back next time we have the chance to escape work for another date night or family meal in MHC. Keep up the good work, Sagebrush Steakhouse!“

“We love going to this IHop for breakfast! We’ve been fortunate to have Iyonia as our server the last two times we visited IHOP, and she is truly exceptional! From the moment she greeted us, she set the tone with her warm personality, professionalism, and genuine attentiveness. She anticipates needs before you even realize them, always with a smile and the kind of energy that makes dining out a real treat.

She is a consummate professional who clearly takes pride in her work, and it shows in every interaction. We will absolutely be asking for her again and again. IHOP is lucky to have her!“

“I know several people have had a few bad experiences over the past year or so. Including our family. We had family just visit last week 5-8th and we had a large variety of items. I must say every was cooked perfectly. Made for a great experience for family that was visiting. Thanks to all. Update May 2023. Using frozen shrimp or at least pre-cooked. Smaller portions. The hush puppies are the only thing to go for. Waitress was wonderful.“
