“Rough day to review as it was Easter Sunday. We waited forever for our food, and we had to ask for an update, as noone came to tell us it was 4 tickets backed up. We watched a much larger party who arrived 20 min after us get theirs first, and we only had 4. I felt a comp, a discount or a free dessert would have eased the wait. Even more bread.. as we waited 65 min from order to table. Unsure what the issue was, but possible short cookstaff or overbooking. Either way, they needed to do better Customer Service wise. Food was good, and server was nice.“

“Visited last night and loved the venue! Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Live music was awesome with Sayer McShane. Patio and inside seating with glass walls that open for an inside outside feel. Highly recommend!!“

“I am giving this place four stars because they had a vegan dessert, sandwich, and an appetizer or two, as well as apparently vegan cocktails. We ordered dessert only. The vegan dessert is This Dessert is Bananas, which is a banana blondie, oatmilk vanilla ice cream and vegan caramel sauce. It was a lovely evening and we sat outside, although their indoor seating area was pleasant as well. We really enjoyed our desserts. The server said they always have a vegan sandwich that is vegan as-is, but are happy to veganize other items. She said they try to always have three vegan cheeses, which last night were feta, gouda and I forgot the last one! Anyway, really nice place, open late, easy parking, something for omnivores and vegans and gluten free (omnivores) as well. Note this is a second-story restaurant, you will have to climb stairs.“

As someone who does not drink alcohol, I LOVE that Bottle Revolution has an EXCELLENT variety of nonalcoholic options for me . I truly appreciate their inclusivity for us non drinkers. They always having a variety of cool options for me to choose from too!“

Their wine club is an excellent deal and has opened our pallet to new wines and regions we would not have purchased otherwise. I first dined here in college when I was looking for some eggplant parmesan - since that day 20 years later it’s still my favorite Italian restaurant in Raleigh! Btw their eggplant parmesan uses in house ROASTED eggplant not fried and I cannot explain how delicious it is. I’ve likely tried everything on the menu by this point and not once have I been disappointed.“

Had chicken and veg biryani. The biryani didn’t taste like hyderabadi style to me. It was mild, and the chicken looks like it was cooked separately from the rice. The flavor was good, but not my preference. The raita and salan were excellent. The restaurant is nice inside, with a full wine bar. Staff were attentive. Will be back to try the other dishes.“
