“Beautiful place, stopped while driving up from Florida. It made for the perfect rest and refresh spot! Stopping here every road trip. There's a metal artist connected or affiliated so there's beautiful sculptures everywhere. A real sight.

“The signs on the wall are worth stopping in for by themselves. We heard the peach moonshine ice cream was worth trying but sadly we were disappointed in it. They do have Hershey ice cream which means they have green mint chocolate chip which is to die for!“

“The guy that took our order appeared as if he was probably the owner of the business and he was very nice. The food was good and they have a nice selection of old timey style fountain drinks in addition to the standard issue soft drinks found everywhere else. We're likely to go again next tire we are in town.“

“Best milk shakes and hamburgers. Really, step back in time and soak in the atmosphere sitting at metal table and chairs looking at the old counter with metal stools, fantastic friendly service. The shakes are served in a tall glass , whipped cream, and a cherry on top along with a whole another shake in the metal container that made it in. What a treat.“

“I don't care where you're from, this is one of those places that should go on your bucket list if you like vintage small town charm. And worth the trip to get off the highway. Their signature sandwich is ground steak on a bun with slaw, tomato and pepper. (onions optional) Delicious. Has most other burger / dairy bar fare if that doesn't trip your trigger. Very fast, fresh & friendly. Ice cream too.“

“I got 2 hotdog combination and cheeseburger combination with french fries and drinks. Food was hot and fresh, the young lady that took my order was polite and smiled the whole time while taking my order. Then went up and ordered two chocolate sundaes they were good as well.

“Stopped here today and got a bunch of treats for a road trip to Charlotte with my husband. Was so excited to find somewhere with gluten free treats for me. Especially excited about the apple pie. I give the food 5 stars. However the young lady that served me did not seem like she wanted to be at work. Was put out because I asked for gluten free treats, and was put out that we asked for milkshakes and she had to make them. Had a grumpy look on her face and a snippy tone in her voice the entire transaction and made us less than comfortable. I realize it was Mayberry Day (which we were not aware of when we planned our trip) but a little niceness goes a long way. She also slammed my frozen apple pie on the counter and broke the crust. Hopefully this isn’t the norm.“

“Best chicken salad sandwich ever. Loved the biscuits and gravy with eggs and cheese. And we are already enjoying the jarred products! We especially enjoy the Andy's Candy on hamburgers! This place is worth stopping at. If we lived here we'd be back every week.“
