“Hop Feng Kitchen is a small carry out Chinese restaurant. They don’t offer dine in but they have some chairs so you can have a seat while you wait for your food. The food and service are great! The shrimp fried rice with yellow rice is very good. The only disappointment is that they don’t have fountain drinks. They offer bottle drinks from the cooler. Even so this place is on my list of lunch options. My lunch:Shrimp fried rice- qt $10.77 with taxParking: The parking lot is small because the restaurant is on the side of the building.“

“Excellent vegetarian and vegan fare. I grew up eating from this place before I was vegan and was so happy to find that I can eat there still as a vegan! The hot and spicy tofu is my favorite, nice and crisp on the outside with excellent flavor! Such good comfort food at reasonable prices“

“I came in and ordered dinner for the family with a soup for myself. The Wonton Soup is my go to when I’m not feeling my best. It helps clear up my sinuses and yucky stuff in my chest. As always the Soup came through. Thank you China Restuarant for your amazing food and service!“

“I got the day off due to rain. So me & my wife went to lunch here. We were craving Chinese food but didn’t wanna pay a million dollars. The place was packed. The buffet tables were steaming hot fresh food. They had a salad bar and a desert bar, a hibachi grill where you pick your ingredients and they cook it on the spot and a sushi bar. The food was great. Fresh, hot and tasty. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. We set up the phone to watch a movie while eating and it was a nice lil date for only $30! We will definitely be back with our entire family ?“

“The food was amazing. And the atmosphere was intimate and not chaotic. It was pretty packed but organized. Everything I had was soooo good. This has now became one of my favorite restaurantsParking: Parking lot pretty big. No need to worryKid-friendliness: They have everything so even if the kids don't like Chinese food, they have regular food like Mac and cheese and fried chicken.“

“Looks like they will be renovating soon, inside is a mess, can't eat in (they'll be closed all of July). Food was really good: loved the lo mein & chow mein. Too bad they have children in front- boy looks 12, girl looks 17. Sparky, immature. Not cool to make fun of customers on phone in front of people waiting for their food. I'll still go back for the food“

“We absolutely loved New China and apparently, everyone else does, too! They were super busy! They have a handful of tables where you can dine-in or takeout is readily available, too. Everything we purchased was full of flavor! The hot n sour soup was fire, the Kung Pow Chicken was amazing but our favorite was the chicken Terryaki on a stick! We, also, ordered spring rolls and an egg roll...both were delicious! Thank you, New China...you have new regular customers! This is in same shopping center as Goodwill in Belmont.“

“I’ve been dining here since 99 and it’s still just as good. In 2024 it’s about 14-18 per plate that gets you entree, rice, egg roll (get an egg extra egg roll cause they are delicious here) which seems like a lot until you realize a combo at McDonald’s is now 12-14 without anywhere close to the quality you’ll find here.If you’re near the area and haven’t tried it out you really should, may become your new favorite!Parking: It’s a shopping center parking lot, just park near food lion and you will be good“

“There is the cutest little lady here named Amy who provides phenomenal service! I'd come back just for her tbh. She was funny, sweet, attentive, and made good drink suggestions even though that's not what we intended on ordering. She is very convincing and the food was fresh and cooked to perfection.“

“Orange chicken with plain fried rice and egg roll was delicious. Chicken was fresh and succulent with all the citrusy flavor infused within. It would be sufficient for two people as they have provided generous amount of meat.Veg Spring roll was decent enough.“

“I've ordered from this place for years. Great hot sour soup with no meat in it, they tend to get the orders correct, generous portions. When you ask for spicy, you get spicy. The decor there is so bad but the food makes up for it.Vegetarian options: Hot sour soup is meat-free.“

“Love their food, it's the best chinese place in this area. Chicken wings, sesame chicken, chicken & broccoli, triple delight, and sweet and sour chicken are all good. Definitely a call in for take out type of place, wouldn't sit in to eat at all, looks dingy but it's good, just kinda pricey. It's by a food lion and a dollar store.“

“This is the closest that I get to authentic Chinese food in NC , it reminds me of Detroit, the fried rice is on point and the rest of the dishes are as expected. I absolutely love the food here. I don’t like that there’s always flies and gnats flying around even in the coldest months. That’s kinda nasty,“
