Fantastic, but prices seem about 10% too high all around.I’ve eaten here twice, once in 2023 and once in 2024. The experience was similar each time, so the restaurant is consistently good. The service is polite and kind. The drinks are tasty. I recommend the bouillabaisse. Portions are large enough to where I never tried the dessert. Substitutions for coleslaw were lacking.I will happily return next year.
Owen's just recently opened for brunch and it did not disappoint. By far the best breakfast I have had in 30 years of coming to OBX. Blows all the competition away. Fabulous food with so much more than just bacon, eggs and pancakes that other places have. I had two eggs, grits, toast, fried chicken steak with gravy, and coffee for about $13. All I can say is wow!

Kid-friendliness: I highly recommend Owens for dinner. The food was delicious with generous portions. My husband had the shrimp and grits, I had seafood pasta , and my daughter had the kids chicken fingers and fries. We added two side salads. Dinner came w rolls and hush puppies. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS.the staff was soosweet, accommodating and supportive. The restaurant was beautiful and charming. We plan to go back again
