“If you are in the area, stop here! A beautiful space with tons of plants outside, antiques and home goods inside for sale and the fresh made desserts were fabulous, as was the sweet elderly gentleman who served us. Would absolutely go out of our way to stop here again.“

“Stopped in for a quick bite. Almost fully automated service (i.e. order from kiosk). Eating in, get a number and food is brought to your table. Drive thru window was in lobby, do employee had to bring bags into eating area. First McDonslds I've been to that was designed this way“

“We stopped here to grab some breakfast after we delivered a shipment in Newland. My husband went in and ordered myself a bacon/egg croissant that was just like I would make..the kind ladies working made my husband an omelette with whatever he wanted per what add ons they had in stock. The atmosphere outside was so peaceful and quiet plus the coffee shop supports the Communities for Children's home. ?“

“I got the privilege to eat at Mckinney's for breakfast on my birthday. It was so good. I felt like I was at my grandma's house. I loved the environment and the sweetest people that work there. Definitely going back.“

“Great cakes, pies, and ice cream. This is the place to stop and get a dessert.

But check the hours or call to see if they’re open before you go. When we were here in June 2024, they were only open Saturday and Sundays from 1 - 5 pm.
