“We love first watch. The service is always amazing especially if you luck out and get Lori as your waitress. She is upbeat and goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need/want. The food is always great. It’s nice to come here and know what you are getting every time. Great food and great service:“

“Chef Warren's is a proper bistro experience. The hostess was wonderful and helped us right away. The waitress was nice, but seemed a bit disingenuous. Food was solid and well presented. I think the expectations here are probably a bit too high and makes it difficult to measure up.“

“I confess I was hesitant at first to dine here because I've been underwhelmed by some of the crepes I've had from other creperies lately BUT I was so glad to be proven wrong. The crepes here are unique and delicious, and I particularly love the contrast of the sweet crepes with the heartier wheat base. I'd come back in a heartbeat!(side note: one of us is forever banned from presenting food on camera now)“

“In the Pinehurst area for a golf weekend and Google searched breakfast places and The Village Cafe came up, good ratings so four of us went to grab a late breakfast. Very nice place, clean, and nice people working there. I got the Traditional breakfast plate, two eggs, hash browns, toast and the meat choice was the Liver Pudding. Never had it, the nice waitress said it was a "rectangular mush". I was not sold until she said some people think it’s like "Scrapple". Sold! I like Scrapple when I can find it, it was basically the same thing, the presentation of it was not the greatest on the plate. Otherwise it was good! Would go here again for sure.Parking: Gravel lot on side“

“Melt in your mouth filet mignon. My dinner companion had the Lamb Ragu Pappardelle Pasta and said it was divine as well. The wine options were outstanding and we had the Apple dessert. It was a cozy atmosphere and just sad I didn’t try this place sooner. Highly recommend“

“You are coming here for the views/vibe/atmosphere in my opinion. My last visit, the food was better than most places, but there were so many black flies on the patio. Always a lovely place to enjoy a meal, a bourbon drink and people watching though!“

“I wish there were more than 5 stars to give! Whitney is one of the most professional and personable servers I have encountered in many years. The food was prompt and delicious. It was a great experience but our server was absolutely exceptional!!“

“I always look forward to any opportunity I get to eat at Armando's. The food is fantastic, the establishment is very clean, and the cashier/staff are friendly. They have a pretty good selection of food and drinks. I always get the chicken taco plate with rice, beans, and an energy drink. Its a must go if you're in the backyard of Ft. Bragg/Aberdeen for the day.“

“This was my first time going to Chapman. So I ordered a jam bacon sandwich with cheese, letruce and tomato. The side was French fries and a pickle. Beginning with the burger, it was descent, but I had better at kick back Jack's, in my opinion. However, the fries were bomb and would eat an entire plate of them. That is how good they were. I think we went at a busy time so the service was very long but our waitress was very apologetic to us. Recommend this restaurant for sure!“

“Incredible food! We had the ribeye steak and eggs with grits, biscuit, and toast, everything was amazing, including a sweet iced tea, and only spent about $18 for all of it. If you want the best breakfast in town, stop by this place, you won't be disappointed! Would definitely recommend to anyone!“

“Man...such a good dinner just some seasoning away from a great dinner. Some salt and pepper on the steak, a little salt and more bite on the broccoli and a little more garlic in the garlic mash potatoes would have wowed me. Service was great, although I didn't get told of any specials being offered, and the the filet was absolutely cooked to order.“

“Luckily, tonight my tennis team found Charbar No.7.I ordered a salmon salad with citrus dressing and a full pour of Pinot noir. I requested the salmon to be sushi grade raw. It was delicious and "melted" in my mouth. I then ordered some toast to help absorb the Pinot noir. The toast was also delicious. It was well seasoned, warm and reminded me of the texture of a warm Krispy Kreme doughnut without the sugar, of course. The food was so good, I hope to go back there again tomorrow for lunch!!!Thank you for a good experience and delicious and well prepared food!Leslie LyonCary, NC“

“While the Ice Cream Parlor wasn’t our first choice for a quick bite to eat, we were pleasantly surprised.A cute corner building off the main streets of Southern Pines, which sports a bright and fun atmosphere that appeals to all ages, would be the perfect spot during the warmer months to stop for a sweet treat.Upon entering the building, we acquired a table that had just been vacated, and a worker immediately came over to wipe off the table before we could get settled in.The food menu was extensive, despite my first impression of it being an ice cream shop, and there were about 20 different flavors of ice cream to choose from.We both ordered the All the Way hotdog, minus the slaw for mine, and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had his with the slaw, and he commented that it was the best hot dog he’s had in a long time. I also ordered the Coffeehouse Cookies and Cream milkshake, which was blended to a smooth consistency that could easily be sucked through a straw. Everything was delivered promptly to the table by the friendly employees. We were there at about 5:15 on a Tuesday, which seemed to be a sweet spot for quick service. It was only a few minutes after we arrived that the lobby was full of families.Since I only had two items, I only gave four stars, but I would love to go back and try out other food options and ice cream flavors. If you need something quick and simple, this is the place to go!Parking: A few spots were available during the time we were there, a Tuesday evening; however I could see it being more difficult on the weekends to find parking without having a short walk.Kid-friendliness: Fun and bright atmosphere that’s appealing to all ages. The music was mostly appropriate (no curse words or extremely explicit phrases), but there was an occasional song I was surprised to hear. I assume it was a random playlist from Spotify or radio station.“

“This is the family's current favorite restaurant. The food is deliberately and artfully prepared and they have some really interesting and appetizing dishes. The kind of plates that I haven't experienced much in Moore county. It is very good for both lunch and dinner. Highly recommended.“

“Had sweet potato fries as an appetizer. Serving was plenty for two people. Four could enjoy it. We had the grilled cheese sandwich with bacon. It was great! Tater tots as a side.It was a little dark and dreary. Wish it was a little brighter. Clean restrooms. Plenty of tvs showing a golf game. Empty when we arrived and filled up more around late lunch time.“

“Had my husbands birthday dinner here. All the food was really delicious. I had requested a happy birthday sign and bottle of wine for the table before we got there and they accommodated beautifully. Also was really sweet to my baby. The waiter was so kind and so was the hostess. I also heard other guests being rude to the hostess and she handled it with grace. We are looking forward to coming back again.Kid-friendliness: Had a high chair and was sweet to my baby.“

You'll get a salad or a cup of soup with your order! I had the curry and it was so fresh and spicy! My girl had the kebabs and they were excellent!“

“Thyme and Place recently catered a dinner celebration for 15 of us and it was perfect! They communicated with me easily and thoroughly throughout the whole process. And the food was delicious! We had several tasty appetizers followed by fantastic lemon chicken, rice and broccoli. I would definitely use Thyme & Place Catering again!“
“Villaggio's is wonderful. My friend and I shared rollatini roses as an appetizer. They graciously added a fourth one so we could split evenly. The bechamel on these was fantastic. I had the ravioli of the day. 2 huge chicken and herb filled ravioli in a spicy marinara sauce. Amazing. Their pasta is an Al dente treat! I finished with a silky chocolate mousse. Service was stellar! I will return!“

“Our church's Seniors (about 20) meet here each month for lunch and a brief program. Our leader asks for our choices of several entrees and passes that info on to the staff. The food is consistently excellent and so is the service. This week I tried something new - chicken quesadilla with tortilla chips - came with sour cream and picante on the side - outstanding taste and quality!! Their chicken cashew is also yummy. Staff are attentive to refilling our drinks and checking on us, and manage to smoothly take care of all those payments. Highly recommend.“

“Food was the best. Waitress was very sweet and kind. The atmosphere very homey. all the food is locally sourced. One recommendation instead of canned sodas I would get a fountain machine. Because one the canned soda the customer may not finish and you waste half a can of soda.“

“On Good Friday afternoon the restaurant was quite & our initial order of your “delicious”fries (our son & DIL, frequent Walcotts) took forever, apparently the kitchen didn’t get the order & our server wasn’t aware enough of our order, to inquire about it…?. 3 out of 4 dinners were very tasty, unfortunately my lobster bisque was not…, but the lobster rolls were very tasty (the bisque was lacking in lobster & flavor, sorry to say! We will try again…having just moved from Phoenix AZ., we have enjoyed great & fine cuisine, we will return another time & hope for a better experience!Parking: Street parking only & it’s hard to find an open spot unless you come at off dining times!“

“We visited on Saturday night. Around 7:30/8ish, they had a band starting to play inside. They had a bar inside and outside on the back patio. Their portion of boneless wings for just $9 was stellar! Honey BBQ was very good. Fries were solid too. Food came out very quickly! Highly recommend for grub food, a fun bar spot, and live music. They had pool tables and darts we didn't use.“

“Easily one of best restaurants in the area. Service is classic and impeccable. Food is supremely gourmet, wonderfully high quality, beautiful, and plays with the taste buds in ways you may have never experienced or expected. Big kudos to chef Adam on the swordfish for preparing possibly one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had, from someone who spent decades in expensive areas along the Florida coast.“

“The entire experience was fantastic! I savored the chicken and tuna salads alongside unsweetened tea. As I was finishing my meal, I couldn't resist ordering a croissant. I'm willing to drive an hour and a half to explore more of their menu on my next visit. The attentive staff and prompt food service made it all the more enjoyable. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience. I can’t wait until you open a location closer to me in the Triangle!“

“It's a cool little place, in a nice area with little shopping stores. The staff was very friendly. The food was great. I ordered the fried green tomatoe tacos and added bacon and it was amazing. I think the taco my boyfriend ordered was maybe like the Korean with like a plum sauce or something I believe either way it was very good just on the tad spicy side.“
“I love the military support!Great atmosphere, decor was a little confused about its vision but still cool.Beers were solid. The BBA Thiic Stout was AMAZING, the blood orange IPA was very nice. The vanila porter and the oatmeal stout fell a little flat but they were still good. Be warned about their Hazy IPA- they warn you about the bitterness and they are not lying!Extensive food menu for what we were expecting from a brewery- cheese curds were very good.Kitchen clearly cooks from scratch, get your orders in ASAP if you arrive hungry.Indoor and outdoor seating. Good amount of parking.Beer and liquor options. Sports ball on the TV but thankfully there was music on and the commentary was (mostly) muted. The bartender was lackluster, unfortunately. Sweatpants to work is not something I’d allow for if this were my place, and I do expect my staff to greet people a bit faster - which he did… if he already knew your name- a greeting and a drink order and poured before he’d bother to look back at his bar top guests that he hadn’t checked in on in a few minutes- so great with the regulars, which we were not. He wasn’t very fast and honestly, just not welcoming enough for us to go out of our way to stop in the next time we are in town. Hopefully that is just us catching him on an off day, but if I were the owner, I’d rather know how to improve the ambiance than someone not express it.“
