“I can’t say enough about this coffee place. They have delicious gluten free options. The coffee is fresh and flavorful. The best part though is the staff. Everyone was super sweet and very helpful. Will definitely add this to my list to always visit when we’re in the area.”

“visited for my first time Monday 7/29 even though I have visited the general area for years. I'm up here on work, but was pleasantly welcomed in and Kate made fantastic suggestions that perfectly suited me beer tastes. I look forward to visiting again”
“If you're looking for a beautiful winery with outstanding wines and genuine hospitality, Lynville Falls Winery is a must-visit. Founded by Jack Wiseman and now proudly operated by the second and third generations of the Wiseman family, this winery is a true family legacy.
The wine selection is expansive, with something to suit every palate. Be sure to order a wine flight—you'll quickly discover just how exceptional their wines are. Don't be surprised if you leave with a few cases to share with friends and family!
The setting is just as memorable as the wine. Rolling hills, vineyards with grapes growing on the vines, inviting outdoor seating, cozy fire pits, weekend food trucks, and live entertainment create the perfect atmosphere to relax and spend an afternoon or evening.
What truly makes Lynville Falls Winery special is the warm welcome from the Wiseman family. Lindsey , Jack's granddaughter, along with her brother, sister, and mother, are exceptional hosts who make every guest feel like part of the family.
Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply looking for a scenic getaway, Lynville Falls Winery delivers an unforgettable experience. It's a place you'll want to visit again and again.”

“Highly recommended! Well worth the extra dime in a very quaint ice cream store in the heart of Banner Elk. The local gas station might sell cheaper stuff- come here for the real deal 🍦🍨”
“I stopped in for some beers during my trip to Banner Elk. I've had German beer all over the US, and many more in Germany, and I can honestly say that this brewery has the *best* Marzen I've had Stateside. Make this a stopping point if you're in this area. Looking forward to what this place produces in the future!”

“We stopped here to grab some breakfast after we delivered a shipment in Newland. My husband went in and ordered myself a bacon/egg croissant that was just like I would make..the kind ladies working made my husband an omelette with whatever he wanted per what add ons they had in stock. The atmosphere outside was so peaceful and quiet plus the coffee shop supports the Communities for Children's home. ?”
“Just a fantastic place. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Kyle was hanging up lights during our visit. He really cared a lot about the place. You can see he loves to host events for his customers and wants every experience to be a five start experience. Ashley was kind also she was great at quickly delivering our food and the drinks were great. Bobby in the back making the food maintained a clean appearance and perfectly delivered meals quickly in a brick stone oven for our pizza. 10/10 experience.”
“We stopped by on our way home to GA because we had to detour due to road closure. We were tired, hungry and give out. The owner and staff were extremely helpful, polite and gave us great instructions on getting around the road closure. Grill was closed unfortunately so we couldn't get food but everything else we bought was great. They really made us feel welcome and brightened our day which was a long, tough one. Would highly recommend stopping by and if we are in the area again, we will make it a point to stop there. Its a great little store with a bit of everything. A side note also, it was one of the cleanest bathrooms I've used on the road!”
“Great cakes, pies, and ice cream. This is the place to stop and get a dessert.
But check the hours or call to see if they’re open before you go. When we were here in June 2024, they were only open Saturday and Sundays from 1 - 5 pm.
Oh and great antiques and homemade soaps.
Also, they only accept cash or check!”

“Slow down! If you miss this perfect little shop... Turn around! Wow!! The desert is to die for! Jams, jelly, gifts galore. Sit a spell. Take your time and enjoy!”
“It was absolutely amazing and peaceful. Best message I have ever had at the Spa.
Rooms: Clean and accommodating. Colonial charm.
Walkability: Everything was within walking distance of 5 to 7 minutes.
Food & drinks: The food was amazing. We tried several items and enjoyed everything. I do not typically order steak as I always seemed to get disappointed. I had the Prime NY Strip, and it was perfectly cooked and as tender and juicy as it should be. Absolutely fantastic!”

“I would just like to say that the owner of this restaurant is a true class act and a real gem of a person. 4 days after hurricane Helene hit, I still hadn't been able to get in touch with my family, as it had wiped out cell service far and wide. One night I was out driving around, and after 30 miles, I found this restaurant and was able to hook up to their Wi-Fi. During this process, the owner rolled up, probably wondering what I was doing sitting in his parking lot in the dark in the middle of the night. When he inquired as to what I was doing, I told him that I was trying to find a way to get in touch with my family. Not only did he tell me to take all the time that I needed, he also asked me if I needed anything that he could get for me out of the restaurant, such as food, supplies, water, ice. When I told him that I did indeed need ice (as my power had been out for 4 days at this point), he went inside and brought me three bags of ice, shook my hand and wished me the best. He even told me to come back the next day and he would feed me. Thanks to his kindness, I was able to get in contact with my frantic family and let them know that I was indeed okay. In all of the chaos and horror of hurricane helene, this was one bright spot. Thank you very much, sir. You'll never know what it meant to myself and my family.”
