“Fast foods only as good as your last experience, mine was exceptional. Despite them being short staffed, training a new employee and getting a huge after lunch rush. They warned me ahead of time and still delivered after just a moments wait.

“We visit Brevard from Texas and this is the place we make it a point to visit each time we come into town. They have never disappointed. We love to order tacos a la carte. On today’s visit we ordered chicken, carne asada, pastor, and the three birria taco plate. We were surprised to see that it was still open and not closed for business as we were informed that it had closed down and was converted into an urgent care center. That’s not the case. It must have been mistaken for another Mexican restaurant. We will continue to visit as long as it is standing. Highly recommended!“

“WE have always had great service here and unlike one review ( which was probably a competitor) the owners and staff have always been extremely helpful and polite. When my wife calls ahead, they recognize her voice and ask if she wants the regular, which for us has been the sopes. We have taken many family members here and just hung out at their tables and eaten and reordered until we can't eat any more. Great place“

“Had a wonderful dinner after the remarkable Brevard Elementary School Christmas program last Thursday Night at El Ranchero. It was later discovered the following afternoon that My Mother had lost her small turquoise colored change purse with her drivers license, a few credit cards and cash. As we were about to leave, she recalls having it in lap as she was leaving our server a tip. We have called the restaurant and no one turned it in. Just hoping someone would see this to do the right thing. Thursday December 15th between 7:45-8pm. Credit Cards are reported lost/stolen. Don’t be a Grinch this Christmas just do the right thing is all. Thank You!“

“Had lunch here on Labor Day, initially because not many other places were open. But so glad I did! They were a bit understaffed, but the food more than made up for it. Chile Rellenos were actually roasted. Corn tortillas were handmade and delicious. Black beans were amazing. Would definitely go back. Moved to WNC a few years ago from TX and this place is now in my top 5 list of Mexican restaurants.“
