“YUM! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Carolina Nutrition. The lovely human in charge was so helpful and made it easy for us toselect our shakes. I super picky when it comes to healthy-we food choices. I hate most protein powders and if I am having a smoothie, it needs to be delicious. In most places that means LOTS of calories and carbs. That was not the case here. Human-in-charge said all of her shakes are under 300 calories with at least 24g protein. I for the key lime pie and my husband got the green machine. I thought both were delicious. 10/10, would recommend.

I didn’t like how it wasn’t layered like bowls traditionally are it was in 3 little scoops all separated but it was good. My husband got the açaí and it honestly didn’t taste good to us at all not the typical açaí flavor or consistency we are used to at other açaí shops. But the other stuff was super good! “Good food, healthy and decent quality. Many options of smoothies, bowls, coffee, etc. Kind of expensive ($11 a smoothie!) but high quality food. I'd definitely get something from here again, but prices make it impossible for me to get something here regularly.

“Just asked for my standard breve and no problem ! I didn't realize I was walking in at closing time - 7 PM. Hours are right on the door. “This is one of 2 really good cafes at the museum of science in Raleigh. The museum is free and it is great having these cafes on site for lunch so you don't have to leave and interrupt your museum visit. The museum is so big that we took 2 days to visit and explore it so we ate at this cafe on our second day and the "Daily Planet" cafe on our first day. Both places are very good, convenient, reasonable prices, and friendly staffed. We enjoyed trying both places and the Acro cafe has really healthy and kid friendly choices as well. Yes, we would eat here again and will visit the museum again someday.“

If you skip the vegan protein options (both deep fried), you can choose 6 toppings rather than just 3, which seems way better to me (especially since fried cauliflower is not a “protein”!). That said the tofu and cauliflower are delicious. Also has coconut bacon and vegan Parmesan cheese as extra toppings. Smoothies were great and can be customized. “Coffee arrived quickly, about 3 minutes. Good for a specialty mocha. Tasted good. "Extra hot" but served regular hot. Store was typical cleanliness. Staff were staying busy, no goofing off or loud music playing (like at Starbucks). So was a very good visit.“

We went today May 27th and we left my sons tablet near the cashier. When we called asking if we had left it behind they answered the phone super quick and they were super nice about it.
