“I always had best Chinese food ever. Never was anything not what I expected. Unfortunately I had to move to Clayton. Food at Asia Cafe is awful. Moo Goo Gai Pan had 1/2 entree with whole mushrooms, virtually no chicken and not in Moo Goo Gai Pan sauce. I had to throw it out it was so bad. Kudos to Rainbow Garden!!!Parking: Parking was always available.“

“Best Asian food in this area of Raleigh. Great service in the fact that Grubhub wouldn’t tell me the status of my food (their driver was just going all over the place other than the restaurant or here) and they ended up making a new hot meal that I picked up myself. Support small businesses like this, big business like Grubhub will lie through call centers. Get the garlic naan, tiki masala, or drunken noodles if unsure.“

“Excellent place and I like the speed and attention they serve to visitors in this place. And they have very good prices, a lot of variety, excellent service and all the precautionary and security measures they have. Everything you can get here you can be sure will always be top quality.“

“So I still recommend, still think the staff are the nicest people and still think their food is some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had but…. Disappointed second time in a row. Last time our request for a dish to be mild was missed and tonight, that same dish was inedible. Tough, strings of meat throughout (see image). There was more spit out than made in to our bellies and this dish isn’t cheap but If it’s a quality issue, I’d rather pay a few bucks more but I’m inclined to think it’s an overcooking issue. Thank goodness for the delicious crab Rangoon and please don’t change those.“

My first 5 star rating was from 6 years ago, I've seen a few negative reviews recently and it had been close to a year since I had last been so I was slightly worried. “I have been going to this place for over 5 years , and every time I go this place don’t have shrimp Egg Foo young. How do a restaurant that is suppose to be really good doesn’t have shrimp Egg Foo young especially on Fridays and Saturdays early in the day. “Food is good, hit and miss on the broccoli one day the broccoli is perfect the next day it’s so hard it’s difficult to chew. Please make sure you tell them exactly how you want your food prepared. Location is great I get to order food and run to the grocery store to pick up a few things and back to pick up my food“

“All I have to say is the woman that works here who is a host, answers the phone, waits on all the tables in the restaurant, who also kept smiling and still gave and did extra efforts that alot of places could learn from her. This lady was doing 5 jobs and still keeping up with all the phone calls, all her tables, and still was double checking the tables for refills and to make sure everyone got everything they were supposed to get. Amazing experience and I commend this young lady. She can be really big one day. Best service I have ever experienced my whole life! Thank you so much for giving my family a stress free night! “First off I'm not a big fan of Chinese food. My son had this delivered tonight and I was totally surprised on how much I liked it. We had Gen Tso and chicken lo main and it was the best I've ever eaten to date (I'm 62, so I've eaten my share of this combo) hats off to the cook tonight, I'll be coming here again in the very near future and we will see if this will be my go to Chinese restaurant in the future?“

“July 2023 Update - Still high quality cheap Chinese, not quite up to Fu Kee, but my #2 in Raleigh area. Food is a little less plentiful than it used to be, but still more than enough. There is no atmosphere to speak of, but the food is great and ready quickly. Kung Po and Hunan chicken were excellent.BIG PLUS - on a big order they LABELED the meals, and stapled them closed. When two of the takeout orders fell over in my car, I was able to right them before they spilled.June 2018 - Probably the best cheap Chinese within driving range of my work. Food is tasty and plentiful. Lady who takes orders is a little hard to understand, but understood our complicated order perfectly, and was super polite and helpful when I had questions. Food was ready less than 15 minutes after we ordered 8 lunch specials, and everyone's food was exactly as ordered.“
