“From the moment we were spoken to at the drive thru speaker to the moment we drove off with our coffee, it was a phenomenal experience. The ladies we spoke to treated us well, tried to upsell us on some stuff which sounded delicious but we only wanted our specific coffees. The lady at the window even asked us how we were doing. It felt like a very welcoming place and we will absolutely be back!

“I don’t normally write reviews for restaurants but after visiting Prime, I just had to let others know. First, the restaurant was clean and beautiful inside and out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The line to order was out the door. I guess that should have been my first clue that the service and food was going to be out of this world. They offered cold water to us while we waited in line. This was me and my family’s first time trying this restaurant and they were so patient and answered all our questions on meat and the best options. (Yes, we were those people holding up the line. Sorry!) The young men cutting and preparing the meat were knowledgeable and super nice. I ended up purchasing several items (Brisket, Ribs, House Made Sausage, and Turkey Breast). All I can say is if you are within 100 miles of this place you must make the trip! Your stomach will love you for it!“

Super nice staff working Sabrina & (Dalton brought our food out & spoke) he always does a perfect job on preparing our sandwiches! 🥪 Overall service was great! “The Depot on First has been open since October 2023 and since then has simply excelled as the only fine dining restaurant in the area. I think much of their success is based on the fact they not only maintain consistency in areas such as attention to detail, exceptional customer service and quality culinary experience, they also continue to evolve and adapt to changing tastes, trends, and customer preferences. I enjoy seeing their ongoing tasting and intimate dining events, of which I will have to attend at some point. Another cornerstone of success for many restaurant's is Authenticity, and this Farm-to-table restaurant continues to prioritize authenticity by sourcing quality ingredients directly from local farms and producers. They don't take any shortcuts when it comes to freshly prepared food to save time which is why I will wait patiently in the elegantly decorated intimate, warm and inviting dining room for my entree upon every visit. No Rush! Just me bring me another perfectly prepared old fashioned. Don't hesitate to step outside of the box and try something new on the menu, I am not a fan of porkchops, but I have become a fan of theirs. “Okay local brewing fans in Knightdale, NC and the Triangle area this is a great place to come and wet your whistle and chill. Oak city has a good selection of brews both seasonal and a host of regulars. Sours, ales, lagers and stouts you’re likely to find what you’re craving here. Aside from some nice ac seating inside (which is limited) they have a covered section with picnic tables outdoors and a large grassy area for your camp chairs and the like. They host a lot of different activities here, and the St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Shuck is a local favorite. Beer, music and oysters galore as long as you buy an oyster ticket ahead of time as they are limited. Staff are great, beer is great, parking behind the brewery and good times galore. Check it out!“

It’s very frustrating. They lose a lot of business not staying open just an hour later. I hope this will change.“

“Don't believe the photo that comes up on the tripadvisor page. When I visited in April 2025, they closed at 5:00 Mon-Thurs, not 8:00. Their website has the correct hours. I had the fried chicken lunch special. It came with two sides and two slices of garlic toast. $9.99. The chicken was juicy and the breading had great flavor. The mac and cheese side was creamy and delish. The broccoli and cauliflower side needed salt and pepper. Nice sized portions for the sides. The garlic bread could use more garlic flavoring. Some patrons at my place of employment told me that they come here several times a week for lunch. The staff is very friendly, even towards me, a newcomer. They seemed to know everyone else in the restaurant. Lots of regulars, which is a good sign.“

“First, the address on TripAdvisor is not accurate. They have moved. The correct address is on their website. \nEven with the trip downtown and back to the restaurant which as it turned out was only a mile or so from our hotel, it was so worth it. For starters we had the creamy crab soup. It was indeed delicious. I told our server I was tempted to cancel our order and just get another bowl of soup. Fortunately, we didn’t. Our entree was a fried seafood basket consisting of shrimp, oyster’s, and flounder. It came with two sides and we got the hand cut fries and coleslaw. We also ordered a half order of hush puppies that came with honey butter. Everything was delicious. Cooked perfectly. The only thing we didn’t eat all of was the fries because there was a bunch of them. The half order of hush puppies was about a dozen and we brought a few home. They were indeed great. \nHighly recommend this place.“
