“I don’t normally write reviews for restaurants but after visiting Prime, I just had to let others know. First, the restaurant was clean and beautiful inside and out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The line to order was out the door. I guess that should have been my first clue that the service and food was going to be out of this world. They offered cold water to us while we waited in line. This was me and my family’s first time trying this restaurant and they were so patient and answered all our questions on meat and the best options. (Yes, we were those people holding up the line. Sorry!) The young men cutting and preparing the meat were knowledgeable and super nice. I ended up purchasing several items (Brisket, Ribs, House Made Sausage, and Turkey Breast). All I can say is if you are within 100 miles of this place you must make the trip! Your stomach will love you for it!“

“Great little neighborhood deli in N. Raleigh area. Ordered the Grand Gobbler on focaccia (bread was perfect & so fresh) & the potato salad (literally some of the best I’ve ever had). It was all so plentiful & so very good! Place has a very simple, but tasteful menu. Super nice staff working Sabrina & (Dalton brought our food out & spoke) he always does a perfect job on preparing our sandwiches! 🥪 Overall service was great! Definitely a must for a quick lunch stop! Will definitely be back asap!“

“The Depot on First has been open since October 2023 and since then has simply excelled as the only fine dining restaurant in the area. I think much of their success is based on the fact they not only maintain consistency in areas such as attention to detail, exceptional customer service and quality culinary experience, they also continue to evolve and adapt to changing tastes, trends, and customer preferences. I enjoy seeing their ongoing tasting and intimate dining events, of which I will have to attend at some point. Another cornerstone of success for many restaurant's is Authenticity, and this Farm-to-table restaurant continues to prioritize authenticity by sourcing quality ingredients directly from local farms and producers. They don't take any shortcuts when it comes to freshly prepared food to save time which is why I will wait patiently in the elegantly decorated intimate, warm and inviting dining room for my entree upon every visit. No Rush! Just me bring me another perfectly prepared old fashioned. Don't hesitate to step outside of the box and try something new on the menu, I am not a fan of porkchops, but I have become a fan of theirs. This is an environment that will put a smile on your face, Ben and staff are simply exceptional, every visit feels like coming home to dinner. “Bearded Bee Brewing has quickly become one of my favorite spots! 🍻 Their beers are always tasty, but what really stands out is how much heart they put into everything they do. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always on top of things - even during big events the lines move quickly because they’re so well staffed.

They keep a fun food truck rotation, so there’s always something new and delicious to try. Their retail selection is creative and so thoughtfully designed - the shirts are some of the best around! 👕🐝

You can tell every detail is done with the community in mind, from the events they host to the way they welcome everyone who walks through the door.

Their Oktoberfest was an absolute blast, and just another example of how they bring people together. Such a gem of a brewery!“

“I’ve been a loyal fan and customer of Goodberry’s Frozen Custard for over 10 years, and it never disappoints but I just had to take a moment to shout out someone truly special Dani.
Not only is the frozen custard always incredibly smooth and flavorful, and the milkshakes rich, thick, and irresistibly creamy, but it’s the people like Dani who really make the experience unforgettable. Her warm greeting, genuine smile, and sincere thank yous that make every visit feel personal and appreciated. She clearly takes pride in making sure every customer leaves happy, and it shows.

“Sean’s Shack is hands-down serving the BEST burger I’ve had anywhere in Raleigh and that’s saying something! Juicy, perfectly seasoned, cooked to absolute perfection, and stacked with fresh toppings that actually taste like they were picked just for my order. Every bite was pure magic. Friendly service, great vibes, and food that makes you want to come back the next day (and the day after that). If you’re in Raleigh and you love burgers, stop what you’re doing and get to Sean’s Shack. You can thank me later.“

“Okay local brewing fans in Knightdale, NC and the Triangle area this is a great place to come and wet your whistle and chill. Oak city has a good selection of brews both seasonal and a host of regulars. Sours, ales, lagers and stouts you’re likely to find what you’re craving here. Aside from some nice ac seating inside (which is limited) they have a covered section with picnic tables outdoors and a large grassy area for your camp chairs and the like. They host a lot of different activities here, and the St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Shuck is a local favorite. Beer, music and oysters galore as long as you buy an oyster ticket ahead of time as they are limited. Staff are great, beer is great, parking behind the brewery and good times galore. Check it out!“

“The bagels and spreads are delicious, worth the trip and always fresh. However, the hours are awful! They close at 2:00. I have been by countless times between 2:00-3:00 and they are always closed. It’s very frustrating. They lose a lot of business not staying open just an hour later. I hope this will change.“

“Don't believe the photo that comes up on the tripadvisor page. When I visited in April 2025, they closed at 5:00 Mon-Thurs, not 8:00. Their website has the correct hours. I had the fried chicken lunch special. It came with two sides and two slices of garlic toast. $9.99. The chicken was juicy and the breading had great flavor. The mac and cheese side was creamy and delish. The broccoli and cauliflower side needed salt and pepper. Nice sized portions for the sides. The garlic bread could use more garlic flavoring. Some patrons at my place of employment told me that they come here several times a week for lunch. The staff is very friendly, even towards me, a newcomer. They seemed to know everyone else in the restaurant. Lots of regulars, which is a good sign.“

With a very relaxed vibe, great service, and a true local feel – the drinks were the real treat. The carefully curated cocktail menu provides some exciting classics with a very sophisticated mix of ingredients to elevate each cocktail to a new level beyond my expectations. With live music every week – I can’t wait to move to the area and become a regular at this local spot!“

We also ordered the guac this time (usually go for the chips & queso) and while it tasted fresh it was missing the heat factor I’m used to. Be aware- there are no open restrooms! When we asked where we could wash hands/ change our baby’s diaper we were told to go across the street to the public park restrooms.“
