“It’s always super crowded and for good reason, they make quick work of the line though. The donuts are amazing and this is the one place I know my coffee is actually going to be balanced. They have their ratios down. The baristas are sometimes nice, sometimes not it just depends on who’s working. But when the coffee is consistent, I’m deal with a bit of curtness“

“Considering the shop is called Okay Coffee, the coffee I had was so beyond okay! It was delicious. I'd been meaning to stop by for a long time and the timing never worked out, but now that I've had it I'm a fan. I had the Emotional Support Latte and my sister had an iced Nitro latte with brown sugar syrup, and we were both very happy with our drinks. The inside of the shop was peaceful and comfortable, and the ambient music wasn't loud or intrusive. I could easily see studying or working in there. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Next time I'll have to try one of the scones, they looked great but I had breakfast at home so didn't try this time. Highly recommend!“

“Went to The Remedy for the first time today. Great location. Excellent coffee, AMAZING hibiscus mimosa, and super cool staff. I loved the vibe. It was a great place to sit and get my work done today. I got to meet the owners too Burgess and his wife are real cool people. And I definitely look forward to meeting with them more and doing my own business from there more often!“

“I'm sad I didn't discover Inti earlier - really special place. They have the normal espresso drinks, but also a bunch of Bolivian specialty drinks and a few Bolivian treats as well. The couple who runs it are the friendliest baristas I've ever met.

They're located in the main lobby of 500 W 5th, just behind the stairs.

One warning for work-from-coffee-shoppers: while there's lots of comfortable seating in the lobby, there are only two spaces with laptop-height counters (both at the bar itself). They do have free Wifi (through the building), but if you're looking for a work space you'll probably need to be pretty literal with the *lap* top.“

“Stupendously great gelato! I've been spoiled by a now-closed (COVID) gelato shop in Charleston, SC, as well as one in Raleigh. I did my research, and have visited both locations of Cafe Gelato. Fantastic gelato, great people. Fortunately, if I go out of my way, it's right on my way. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!“

“I visited the Indian restaurant the evening before- see review on their page. I thought I’d try the bakery this morning. It’s a beautiful warm day here, no humidity and a light breeze. Sitting outdoors to enjoy my bagel was perfect. The service was excellent… so friendly and welcoming. I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and a blueberry muffin. My first time having to toast my own bagel-lol- at a restaurant, I don’t have anywhere to go at the moment so time was not a concern. I’m a East Coast girl and love NY bagels.. this bagel was fresh, chewy and soft on the inside just like it’s supposed to be! Once I taste the muffin I will amend my review. Now I want to try their everything bagel!!“

“One of my favorite coffee stops in Winston-Salem. Perfect for a morning coffee or an afternoon / evening cocktail. Pair that with Bookmarks next door with a shared opening and you just have the perfect vibes.

Have enjoyed conversation with the employees and this will forever be one of my stops while in town. Plenty of parking in back (if they have an event rec entering around front).“

“Went to the museum so my kid could visit for the first time and was more than happy to shop at Cam’s before we ventured inside. We were able to get a snack for my kid and a caffeine boost for me. My husband got a green smoothie, which he loved. The staff were warm and friendly and my coffee was delicious. I’ll definitely stop back by when we visit again.“

“This is tucked inside Ingles Supermarket, so that is the only time I come here - when I’m shopping. No worries though, I get stellar service no matter what. Their little kiosk/booth is spotless and the workers are always polite and full of smiles. I’ve never had a bad drink here. Always made quickly and to perfection. I highly recommend stopping here for a treat while shopping.“
