“Toscanos Bistro in Shelby is one of those rare spots that makes you feel like you've stumbled onto something special. Their menu blends classic Greek and Italian dishes, and everything I've tried has been full of flavor and freshness.

The real standout for me, though, is their Chicken Ala Francesca. It is hands down my favorite dish. It's a creamy chicken and mushroom pasta that's rich without being heavy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection every time. The sauce is so flavorful that you'll want to savor every bite (and maybe even grab some bread to soak up what's left on the plate).

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, whether you're dining in for a cozy night out or picking up takeout. The staff are friendly and attentive, and you can tell they care about the food and the experience.

“I've been to dozens of breweries over the years, some are good, some are lame... This place is AMAZING!! The Belgian Tripple is on point, and I've been to Belgium and had those beers. They have a great ESB and Sangria. The chicken tenders (sweet chili sauce) were out of this world good!! There is ample seating, dining room, upstairs and outside. The music is good, and at the right volume so you can still have a conversation. This place is a gem!!”

“We had a wedding rehearsal party at Mi Pueblito on Oct 30. The staff did an excellent job accomodating our 30 guests. Food was excellent. There was plenty, it was served hot and very tasty. “The food is really good, but I am thankful that I just didn't want onions on my sandwich and I am not allergic. I opened the sandwich and didn't see any, so took a bite. There were thin pieces of onion skin mixed in with the cheese in a way they can't be easily seen and picked off. Seemed almost like someone forgot and picked off what they could. Whatever happened, it clearly says no onion on the receipt. The fries were really good, though.”

“This is our go-to place every Monday except for when they are closed or if something else is going on. They are just a little laid-back small town joint. Everyone who works there is always super nice. It can get a little crowded sometimes during lunch hour, but we always manage to find a spot. They also have a covered picnic area if you like to eat outside. Food is always delicious. The BBQ is the best in town (sorry to both Bridges lovers). Burgers are excellent, and so are the hot dogs. I highly recommend it. They only take cash, though, if you have never been.”

We started off with tiger chicken nachos that were incredible. It was a nice touch of sweet and spicy throughout the whole dish,and a very large portion.
We also ordered fried deviled eggs and a smash burger that we intended to eat,but after the drinks,the nachos and the eggs,we were just stuffed, so the smash burger will be for my dinner later lol
Our server was amazing as well,very attentive and a wealth of menu knowledge. I don’t remember her name (I apologize ) but she was an African American young lady and was just the best.

I love this place..A restaurant doesn’t have to be complicated to serve great food.”

The atmosphere was awesome and we had the pleasure of meeting Nancy. Nancy is the biggest reason we enjoyed the experience, she was funny and made us all laugh despite how exhausted we were. Shrimp Tempura Bento Box [pic] large shrimp, broccoli, sweet potato, onion ring, salad, ginger, miso paste, clear soup.
Tempura Calamari [tender and delicious.
Tons of food, both Bento Boxes included clear soup , so flavorful.
As you can see, tons of good. The fried rice was some of the best plain fried rice we have ever had. We will definitely return, well worth it.”

Only issue is with the broken speaker here and consistently the portions of fries are different, like sometimes a side of cheese fries will fill up the box but other times it’s like 10 fries and a dollop of cheese”

For some reasons it didn’t seem as yummy with the included sauce not quite filling the pocket.

“Me and my partner recently went to this place for his birthday. When we first arrived, I don't think the pizza was fresh, but later they brought out new ones that tasted more fresher. I tried a variety of pizzas:

1. Cheese pizza with red sauce: the sauce is a little on the sweet side for me, but a solid slice. 4/5

2. Cheese pizza without sauce: Bland and kinda dry but okay 3/5

3. Cheeseburger pizza: My favorite, was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. Has a strong mustard and pickle flavor, which I enjoyed, this one is really good. 5/5

4. Taco Pizza: A close runner up for my favorite, was also surprised by how much I enjoyed this one. The fresh shredded lettuce on top was nice and crunchy and good.

5. Dessert pizzas: all were tasty.

I was a little disappointed that I could not start with a salad, as all the lettuce looked wilted and not very appetizing. The spaghetti and meatballs also did not look fresh so I did not want to try them. The macaroni and cheese also tasted old and quite dry. My partner tried the garlic bread and pepperoni rolls, both of which were so old and dry and hard that they were inedible unfortunately.

SO overall, I have mixed feelings about the food and selection, but some it was really good, like the cheeseburger and taco pizza. I would be willing to order a whole one of these two varieties because they were so good. The waitress was nice and also the waitress was attentive. At $8 for an adult, I feel like it's a decent value overall for what you get, and despite a few disappointments, I would still be willing to go back.”
