“What a cute coffee shop. We stopped there after the park today and we were pleasantly surprised how good the coffee tasted. It was pretty empty at the time we visited and received excellent service right away.My coffee came with the cutest design and it certainly brightened up my day.“

“This place is great for a meet up of work from home. My only complaint is don't sit by the back door. It does not close and if it's cold out you will be freezing. And before you ask I tried to close it but there is no handle on the inside. Disappointing.“

“I was there today around 4:00 and a customer refused to put her mask on. She was given a mask because she didn’t wear one in. Then she refused to put it on after one customer and three employees asked her to do so. I’m unsure how it played out after I left but consider not taking the order of a person not wearing a mask if your policy is you must wear a mask to enter your store“

“Milk Bread is a Cornelius spot that takes fast food up a notch. Although the menu is limited, the atmosphere was clean, modern, and inviting. We stopped there for a quick bite in advance of an event at Davidson College and were not disappointed with our choice of their Classic deep fried chicken sandwich, served on a fresh roll with spicy mayo, lettuce, and a dill pickle. The chicken was a cut above most similar offerings at rival establishments, and we accompanied our sandwiches with a freshly made Cole slaw (not the finely chopped version with too much mayonnaise) and some crinkle fries. Special shout out to the staff who were friendly and although not often mentioned, kept the restrooms in a spotless condition. There is another Milk Bread in Plaza Midwood on Central Avenue that we tried for breakfast, and found those offerings of similar quality. I would recommend MB to anyone looking for something a bit different than a Big Mac.“
